$$ALERT$$ Brandon Belt

Post by Gekko » Wed Mar 23, 2016 6:18 pm

Wouldn't you know it, one of my favorite sleepers heading into the season just hit two homeruns today. He's up to 4 now. What has gone unnoticed by some is his incredible plate discipline this spring. he has more walks than strikeouts, which is a fundamental change vs every other spring training he's had.

FOLKS, I THINK HE CAN TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL THIS YEAR. He's currently being drafted at #140 overall (10th round). Wouldn't surprise me to see a 25hr/15sb/.295+ season from him. Jump him a round or two early and enjoy. You can thank me later. STRONG BUY 8-)

.

Call me crazy (or if your name is Mikey call me idiot) but I can't trust Belt's health enough to draft him anywhere near his ADP so I'll miss out in every draft.

Sleeper? Yeah, with his concussion history he may be sleeping a lot this season.

Pass.

Had a huge day today..... Has 4 HRs 12 RBIs - 13 hits in 29 ABs and 6 walks. Having a great spring. I think Mark is actually bringing up a guy who is definitely a sleeper. Very strange. :?

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Ah but do we care? To answer that question, yes we do because mark's a really good player.

More belt info:
If you take away Belts' ABs against Kershaw, he actually has reverse splits.
