George Acunto of Yapink, New York has signed up for the $1,250 Mixed Auction League and David Martino wants to do one for $650. So we're getting more interest in the Friday Auction Leagues in New York. Thanks guys and we'll keep pushing to fill this one up and then let the smack talking begin! :D

Gekko,

Thanks for continuing to push the $1250. Frankly, I am intrigued to meet you, should be a blast. Sadly, the $1250 event will be mine to win, but feel free to claim 2nd. I don't plan to let 1st place slip out of my hand on the last day of the year like I did the $650 mixed vegas auction last year

Greg, RT was in for the NYC $1250. I will get him to email you. Please get that spot locked up

I don't get it, you can't ask for tips and then tell me you are going to kick my butt

Well, if you win, hats off. Winning in these competitive leagues is always a challenge, so to win, you need to have a great draft, great FAAB work, then some luck (like no major injuries).

Gekko, I'm really tempted to send my boy to play in this event. What do you think easy money? It's your call.

It won't matter who is in this league, eddie g, hook, or even you. I'm staking claim to this league title in february. Remember to reread this thread in october and acknowlege me as the best. Thanks.

[/QUOTE]Bud, I hope you are better at looking for players than you are for looking for cheap hotel rooms. I just went to www.spg.com (starwood preferred guest) and I could have booked two nights at the W on Lexington for $239/night + tax... And I didn't even try any of the discount hotel places (priceline, hotels.com, etc.. etc..)

So no excuse on the room!

First thing I realize Shawn did not say that b/c he is way too humble. Eddie and Shawn are obviously great players I have tied one and been beaten by one but lets not take it too far.

Using NFBC results alone GG including Hook in that list is like saying Pujols, Reyes, or Craig Monroe
