So, I think it is you who are going to be fun winning the $ from

Although I do not want to upset the Captain- we do not want to go back to the days when he got mad about posting in the wrong areas- plus I want to take in a spring game with him next time I am in Surprise. Captain I happened to see the first game between 2 ML teams in that stadium. I think the Royals had played a college team the day before. I think it is by far the best spring park in either the Grapefruit or Cactus league. Disney being the worst.

First thing I realize Shawn did not say that b/c he is way too humble. Eddie and Shawn are obviously great players I have tied one and been beaten by one but lets not take it too far.

[/QUOTE]Chest, that may be true if you are looking at results for the main draft - However if you are talking about auction leagues then you are way off base - Pujols, Reyes and Fonzi would be closer.

We're glad to welcome back another original member of the NFBC family to the event in 2007 as Perry Van Hook of Surprise, Arizona (formerly of Santa Ana, California) will be joining us once again in Las Vegas on March 16-17. Perry has signed up for the NFBC's main event at the Flamingo, the $1,250 AL Auction League and the $650 NL Auction League. His Plan du Vin team finished fifth in Las Vegas League 4 of the main event last year with 90.5 points, placing 120th overall with 1,849.0 points. His Captains of Tequila team finished ninth in the $1,250 AL Auction League with 60 points and his The Wright Stuff team finished eighth in the $650 NL Auction League with 65 points. Perry is scouting prospects right now at the Arizona Fall League and is in baseball mode already. Welcome back Perry and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize, the $7,000 AL Auction League prize and the $3,750 NL Auction League prize.

Kind of seems like Craig Monroe was pretty accurate description for 06? Maybe I am missing something?

Okay, R.T. Davis is officially in as our 11th Mixed Auction League team in New York, although two of those teams would prefer the $650 league. Considering that there are still 13 -- yes THIRTEEN -- teams from last year who competed in the New York $650 Mixed Auction League who haven't signed up yet for 2007, we could actually get a $650 and a $1250 Mixed Auction League in the Big Apple this year. Anyway, the signups are still coming in and we're closing in on 15 in New York. Good job everyone.

David Zwickel of New York City is officially signed up for the $1,250 Mixed Auction League as we get closer to a full league for this one. There's also plenty of interest in the $650 Mixed Auction League, so we'll see if there's enough interest for three leagues in the Big Apple ($650 AL as well) on Friday, March 16th. I have at least one more signup on hold here for the $1250 Mixed Auction League, so we're getting closer. Thanks everyone.

We've added Scott Simonetti, Emilio Cutaneo and Ed O'Donnell to the $1250 Mixed Auction League in the last 30 minutes to possibly fill this one out. We definitely can take a run at the $650 Mixed Auction League now!!!

Thanks everyone.
