Wheels are coming off for Jeanmar Gomez. Regression is a cruel thing sometimes. Get the backup closer tonight for single digits and likely enjoy 25+ saves the rest of the way. xFIP over 4.50 for the past month or so indicates Gomez loses the gig very shortly. Could be this week. He threw 32 pitches tonight and will likely be unavailable fpr the next game or two. IF the Philes have a save opp and the closer in waiting delivers we could see a change for the rest of the year.
