You must own Kennedy, Wayne
He wasn't throwing that well. He had thrown 29 balls in just four innings. Four swing and miss strikes.
Despite just the one walk, he was missing his targets'
A train bound for nowhere.
Yost did his owners a favor.

Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

Why, yes...yes I do!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Boy, somebody has pulled Charlie Blackmon's chain. Since Monday and as of this post, he is hitting .500 with four runs, three HR, and five RBI's.
May it last through September!

St. Louis broadcasters talking about the Marlins...
"The Marlins have the most athletic infield in baseball"
Partner- "Yes, and Ichiro is having a career year"
Ugh. How quickly they forget.

In 3 days time, one team ... 4 corner IF's injured: Shaw, Duffy, Pujols, Pearce, and a 5th suspended.

Probably not even a record, but hard to cover (insert crying baby). You can't have too many healthy players.
The good news ... for my other dozen teams, my competitors taking it in the shorts too.

Meanwhile, Gary Johnson talking common sense and fairness on CNN while 99% of the country doesn't care while bitching about the worst combination of leading two candidates in the history of the world.

I had never considered Libertarian candidates before (whom, as a whole, seemed generally fringe politically, intellectually...) but you got me looking at Johnson/Weld. Interesting though that CNN would give them a small bit of the national spotlight as typically Libertarian tickets pull more from the Republican side of the divide (due to the less-government platform) than the Democrat. CNN (back to being the Clinton News Network) I am sure is doing it help Secretary Clinton (touch up that anti-Trump dissent in the Grand Old Party). If they were being fair, they would have the same town hall for the Green Party candidate Jill Stein. I wish Bernie would run on one of the five or so socialist party tickets.

Giolito isn't even the next minor league SP to be called up
OR IS HE ???
Sounds like he is not in the Gekko portfolio.
No guarantee he will be worth his prospect price as Berrios and Snell haven't actually delivered yet, but at least he's coming.
