This looks like the same problem that I have posted about the past 2 days and has now manifested itself in the final Period 14 player assignations of players to the Starting Lineup or Bench.
In my case, it looks like the Cutline programming code does not recognize a multi position eligibility player like Danny Valencia as being eligible for 3B and OF. Not sure if Valencia is an isolated case, or if all multi eligibility position players are affected, but IT needs to fix this ASAP as these Period 14 stats determine who gets into the Cutline playoffs.
Cutline assigned Jay Bruce (18 points) to the OF position
Cutline assigned Danny Valencia (21 points) to the 3B position
Cutline assigned Nolan Arenado (21 points) to the CI.
Cutline assigned Chris Carter (19 points) to the Bench.
Since Danny Valencia has OF eligibility, the following should have happened but didn't:
Nolan Arenado - (21 points) 3B
Danny Valencia - (21 points) OF
Chris Carter - (19 points) CI
Jay Bruce - (18 points) Bench

Re: The Cutline final stats for Period 14 are incorrect
Robert, I'm not seeing a mistake here:
Valencia was your highest scoring 3B for the week and was positioned there since, as you said, he has multi-position eligibility. If you put him in the OF then Pedro Alvarez would be put at 3B with 6 points. That would not have given you your highest scoring team which is what the program is set up to do. Carter only qualifies at 1B and UT and there were players slotted in each of those positions with more points. Mark Reynolds is at 1B with 27 points and David Ortiz is at UTL with 41.
Again, I'm not seeing an issue here unless I'm missing something. If Valencia is put into your OF it results in your team scoring fewer points than if he is slotted at 3B and Bruce is put in the OF.

You are missing what he wrote. He laid it out perfectly. Arenado to 3B, Carter to CI, Valencia to OF, Bruce to bench.Tom Kessenich wrote:Robert, I'm not seeing a mistake here:

Tom - Nolan Arenado has 21 points and is tied with Valencia who also has 21 points. With optimal scoring, Arenado should be placed at 3B, Valencia moved to OF, Chris Carter moved to CI, and Jay Bruce moved to the Bench.
I know it is a difference of only 1+ point in my case, but it indicates that there is a flaw in the way optimal point players are being assigned and other teams may be affected.

That still gives him with fewer points for the week. Arenado went to CI with 21 points. If he's put at 3B that puts Alvarez in at CI with 6 points which is fewer than Bruce got with 18.JohnP wrote:You are missing what he wrote. He laid it out perfectly. I'll forward this to tech.TRAIN wrote:Tom - Nolan Arenado has 21 points and is tied with Valencia who also has 21 points. With optimal scoring, Arenado should be placed at 3B, Valencia moved to OF, Chris Carter moved to CI, and Jay Bruce moved to the Bench.

Re: The Cutline final stats for Period 14 are incorrect
Tom - It looks like tech has fixed the problem. My stats for Period 14 are now correct and the right players are in my Starting Lineup.
For what it's worth, I went back and checked every Period from 1 thru 13 for my team that was not optimized for Period 14, and all of the other Periods looked fine and optimized.
Thanks for your help.
