Watching a bit of the Mets-Marlins game tonight. Before grounding out, the TV flashed Granderson's stats. He has 22 HR and only 38 RBI. Thought it must be a mistake but Fangraphs verified his stats. That's incredible to me. How can you hit 22 HR and only have 38 RBI? That means he's knocked himself in more times than he's knocked in all of his teammates combined. I wonder if there is some type of record for fewest RBI compared to HR. Has anyone ever hit 25 HR and not reached 50 RBI? Has anyone (besides Granderson) ever hit 20+ HR and before getting to 40 RBI?
Anyway, slow night for baseball and figured some might be similarly amazed by that stat.

Re: Curtis Granderson
Wow. Thanks, Todd. Interesting list; I'm impressed you were able to put it together so quickly. I guess the Grandyman's "feat" is not so extraordinary, although it looks like he arguably has the most extreme numbers at this point.
