Don't get me wrong, I didn't make up the ranks.
It's an actual ADP but with only 3 drafts of data we can all agree the sample size is too small.

It's an early look at possible trends.

I wanted the numbers so I put it in a simple spreadsheet, easy as cut/paste and one formula.
Just getting ready for the DC coming up and figured I'd share it.

There's over 30 multi eligible players going into 2017 and Trea Turner is one of them with 2B/OF.
When we see the early draft results posted by NFBC they generally use only the position played most from the year before.

For example they're listing Pujols as DH but he did play 28 games at 1B in 2016 so is still 1B/CI eligible.

The Fake ADP now has data from the first six rounds of 7 drafts published by Greg in the forum.

Please note players some players were not taken in the first 6 rounds of all 7 slow drafts.
Ranks are unofficial and intended for the curiosity and entertainment of the reader.

This has been very helpful to me in an early draft. Thanks for doing it.

As soon as there are 5 completed drafts, the NFBC site will post their ADP up to date and keep it current through an automated process.
They'd like you to buy into a league to have access to their data so I won't be doing the work anymore after they go live with it. It would be redundant and a heck of a lot of work once there are new drafts starting every day.

This thread won't get updated after Dec 23 regardless unless someone else decides to do it.

Happy Holidays!

Yea I'll be in quite a few leagues so doesn't matter I guess. Trying to mitigate risk by doing lots of amateur satellites this year to win more $$$ rather than blowing my wad in the auction champ or ME

What is an "amateur satellite."? Don't all leagues play for money?

I just mean the level of competition in even a $250 satellite is nothing compared to higher stakes. Namely FAAB is much tougher in big time money leagues. I still think it's easily possibly to ace a draft in any setting however.

Greg what is the status of the first 5 DCs? How close are we to the actual ADP list being posted?

We have three finished leagues, one that is in Round 48 and two that are in Round 40. We're almost there.

Thanks for doing this!
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
