I know I posted this in the Multiple League Champions thread, but I wanted to create a separate thread to look at the draft spots that our Main Event league champions and other major league champions drafted from in 2017. Here's the data again from the Main Event and then I'll look at some of the other draft leagues. Enjoy.
We had 32 Main Event leagues in 2017 and every single draft spot produced at least ONE Main Event league champion. That's pretty amazing. The No. 7 spot was the sweet spot as it produced EIGHT Main Event League champions. Here's a list of the Main Event league champions and where they drafted from:

In the private high-stakes leagues, the middle of the pack dominated again. Here is where the league champions drafted from in 2017:
Platinum - Pick 8
Diamond - Pick 8
Ultimate NY - Pick 7
Ultimate Online - Pick 10
Super March 25 - Pick 10
Super March 27 - Pick 15
Super April 1 - Pick 3
Pretty interesting.

Re: Where Did The 2017 NFBC League Champions Draft From?
I don't have a breakdown for all of the 12-team Online Championship leagues since we had 149 of them, but here are the results from the $1500 and $750 leagues:
Pick 5 - $1500 OC Plus March 30
Pick 3 - $1500 OC Plus April 1
Pick 3 - $750 April 1
Pick 5 - $750 Las Vegas March 31
Pick 7 - $750 March 27th
Pick 7 - $750 March 30th
Pick 8 - $750 March 31st
The $1500 and $750 OC Plus leagues will be returning in 2018. I may be stubborn, but I know there are some players who only play the 12-team format and having a higher-dollar entry point is still a worthy option. I like the $4,000 and $9,000 league prizes and I think some of our owners do, too. We won't have many options on the docket for this format, but we'll try for a couple of live drafts in Las Vegas again this year and keep this as part of the national contest. Good luck all.
