If Greg wins he just gets greenbacks?- which leads me to say maybe one of us should keep the money so Greg can actually get cash. Perry you up for that? I will do it if no one else will, but Perry aren't you the keeper of some side bet escrow money already. I'll second the idea - let's shoot the side money to Capt Hook.
I'm in. Round it to $72 each and who cares about the extra buck or 2 over. That should get it to your goal of $1000, $500. Thanks in advance.

Okay, there's no reason to wait any longer on this league. I'll give Tom these 15 names and we'll get this set up with Geoff at MockDraftCentral.com ASAP. Tom will throw all 15 names in a hat this morning and pick randomly. There's no time for KDS and no time for BBDS. We'll have fun with this draft and maybe even write a little content from this. I'll compete and I promise not to pay off Tom for a good pick (I'll gladly take 15) or look at your FAAB bids during the season! :D

Bring it on guys. Sunday, 7 p.m. EST. Here's the field:

NFBC Content Panel League

Sunday, April 1st

7 p.m. EST, MockDraftCentral.com

(This is not the draft order)

1. Glenn Schroter

2. Kent Stermon

3. Wayne Edwards

4. Kevin Dukesherer

5. Perry Van Hook

6. Dan Kenyon

7. Mike Konemann (for Brian Oakchunas)

8. Jim Ferrari

9. David Van Der Stuyf

10. Ed O'Donnell

11. Gerry Scotto di Marco

12. Lance Turbes

13. Greg Morgan

14. John Dean

15. Greg Ambrosius

If Mike K is in for the side bet of $70, then we have 15 guys in for that, including me. We'll give that to the winner and I'll spring for a $500 Satellite League entry in 2008 for second place. We'll have some fun with this and when I'm done kicking some butt here you guys can all bow to the master!! :D Be ready because I'll have my "A" game out on Sunday night!!

I'll tell ya, that damn machine Tom uses to spit out Draft picks sure blows!! :D It didn't even help out the High Exalted Commissioner for Life!!! 14th!!! FOURTEENTH!!! What's up with that???? :D :D

Actually, I like it. Bring it on. We're set for Sunday night as the draft order is below. Look for an invitation from MockDraftCentral.com tomorrow and be ready to draft on Sunday night. We're not waiting for anyone, so be on time. What a great way to kick off the season with one baseball game going on and our final satellite league draft of the season. Great, great fun.

Perry, give the details on where to send the side bets. I'll shoot you out a check as well. Thanks everyone.

Also please send or PM your email and snail mail addresses to me. Perry, I replaced bjoak with Mike Konemann, so we should have 15 guys paying the entry fee now. $67 x 15 brings us to $1,005. Sound good?

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Good by me - I will pocket the loose change for record keeping but replace it with the winner's choice of wine, scotch, vodka or gin and for those who don't know that comes from the best supply "vault" you have ever seen.

Would any of the fine participants of this draft be willing to take on commissioner duties?

Unfortunately, I'll be at Wrestlemania come 7:00 pm Sunday, and the rest of the MDC staff had previous plans, as well.

Being the commish isn't hard, especially with the easy commish-help link that I will provide.
OK I predict Greg will have an issue with this- I predict we need to overrule him. I say divide the fee by 14 and cover Greg's. The very least we can do for him- if you all are ok with that let me know. If not let me know too. I will get Perry a check over the weekend. Thanks for handling that portion Perry.

One more thing why is bjoak ducking us?

Greg, this is one time where we won't need your decision making. :D A done deal.

This is going to be a FUN league. I look forward to winning from the 14th spot.

The last thing I wanted was 14 guys paying and one not when we had plenty of folks who wanted to have some fun with this league. Nobody was thrown out, we just needed to all get on the same page and have fun with this. As you can tell, this is going to be a smack talk league with me providing the commentary until I'm officially eliminated from the race (which could be in May for all I know). So you won't be missing much. ;)

Perry, you can hand deliver the wine to me at the AFL Symposium in November!! :D
