Hit him so fucking solid it sounded like it hit the bat. He just walked away with a look of stunned disbelief, handed his stuff to the batboy and disappeared into the dugout. There's no way this has a positive outcome. I want to throw up.

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

X-Rays came back negative and he's already lobbying to play tonight. My apologies to everyone for the projections of doom, but seeing that in real time really put me in a bad mental state.

I'm sure a little alternating grey and white combined with some faint soothing blue will get you out of your funk.
