Anyone doing an ADP analysis?
ADP for the 25 main event leagues and the three Ultimate Draft Leagues is now available at:
****://www.fantasybaseballchampionship.com/rep ... asp?s=2007
Enjoy. I have asked for a minimum pick and a max pick range as well and hopefully STATS can give that to us shortly. That would be a great add to this data.

Nice... there are a few players with 27 leagues that are data entry fixes like the one I sent you on Contreras.
Crisp and Capuano were others.

Am I reading the list right.....was Pujols drafted 9th in a league??? Was Rollins drafted 1st overall in a league???
Anyone doing an ADP analysis?
And Grady Sizemore went 95th, and Matt Holliday went 96th, and Carlos Lee went 82nd?

I think this data is highly suspect! There is no Carl Crawford went as late as 35th for example. I think they included the data from the Auction Leagues which makes no sense at all
Greg, can you ask them about this?

And Michael Young was the 3rd overall pick?
Seems like STATS, in their hurry to get this up, might have dropped the ball a few (dozen) times.

Tried twice . ya there is no way someone would spend $1300 and then take Rollins first...he is the #4 shortstop on my list....
must have included auction leagues, which round taken doesnt matter...

You just go to the nfbc homepage (the one with your mug plastered across the front of it) and click on 2007 adp results.

Yeah these are incorrect.
examples: Frank Thomas went 4? Kouzmanoff #26 Oliver Perez #37
Hopefully STATS can fix these

Definitely some corruption in the data. Is there really a league where Miguel Cabrera is in the FA pool? The STATS ADP has him picked 27 times out of the population of 28 leagues (25 main event and three ultimate?).
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

I'll ask STATS to do this again. They should have valued just the 25 main event leagues and the three Ultimate Draft Leagues. Hang tight.

The ADPs on the NFBC home page are now accurate and fun to look at. You can find them on the right-hand side at the top under 2007 NFBC ADP. Enjoy.
I'll start a separate thread tomorrow and analyze some of these numbers. Should be fun. But here was the consensus first round and their range of picks from the 25 main event leagues and the three Ultimate Draft Leagues:
1. Albert Pujols (as high as 1st, as low as 3rd)
2. Jose Reyes (high of 2nd, low of 5th)
3. Alfonso Soriano (high of 1st, low of 4th)
4. Alex Rodriguez (high of 2nd, low of 7th)
5. Carl Crawford (high of 3rd, low of 8th)
6. Ryan Howard (high of 3rd, low of 10th)
7. Chase Utley high of 4th, low of 12th)
8. Johan Santana (high of 4th, low of 21st)
9. Carlos Beltran (high of 4th, low of 16th)
10. David Ortiz (high of 6th, low of 18th)
11. Miguel Cabrera (high of 4th, low of 20th)
12. Vladimir Guerrero (high of 7th, low of 20th)
13. David Wright (high of 8th, low of 20th)
14. Lance Berkman (high of 9th, low of 22nd)
15. Grady Sizemore (high of 11th, low of 24th)
