NFBC Will Have Live Standings In 2007

Okay, STATS has incorporated a few changes into the live scoring pages this year that I know a lot of you will like. They have developed a live standings page for the NFBC this year, which will definitely come in handy later in the year. This has been completed, but you won't see it for a few days as we want to test it during the first few days of the season. Before week's end, however, you should be able to see this feature.

STATS told me yesterday that they've also changed the way the stats are displayed that will make it much easier to track player stats as they happen. The live standings will also be there. And, they’ve added a live chat feature at the bottom of the page that owners can use to chat with other league members while watching the live scoring.

Enjoy the new features and good luck to everyone this season.

Enjoy the new features and good luck to everyone this season. Somewhere in New York city Chris Troop just got an erection- he does not know why yet but it just feels right.

That is great news. Chest would have had it right about my reaction if they would make the FAAB process a bit simpler (I wasn't on the live scoring bandwagon) BUT, I do appreciate they are working to improve the site and all improvments are appreciated

I hate to be a "hater" but I have seen so many sloppy mistakes that I assume the worst. I will try and be not soooo critical in the future

Okay, after two weeks of testing, STATS has turned on the Live Standings feature. You can now see your league standings updated within live scoring. Enjoy the new feature.

I know some folks have asked if the overall standings will be updated with live standings and the answer is "no." That would be too big of a data base to do that at this point. But it should be fun to watch the league standings change along with the live scoring stats. Enjoy and let us know if you see anything that needs work. Thanks.

Over and under is seven hours before Chris Troop suggests a way it can be done better. Anyone want the over?

Thanks John- spent the weekend looking at baby furniture which all looks the same to me, is quite expensive, and can get away with charging whatever they want for additional "safety features"

Looks great...nice addition

Clicking on the different cats is very cool.

Any chance we can get back "this period" stats?

I found that info just as valuable.

And to shoot for the moon, +/- for the day on each of the cats. When a change occurs, the numbers turn red, which is great, but it would be great to see which way you are moving.

Thanks to Stats for adding. I concure with UFS's small addition request. Does this count towards the over under since it is UFS's request?

Nice work!

Spy I almost signed my post with your name, but I didn't want to upset the board police.

Hey, if wanting a good user experience in the Highest Stakes Fantasy Baseball Leagues that I know of is a crime, then let me be guilty!

I hope (I think) that Greg and Tom realize that the reason I want Stats to have their act together is because I am a huge supporter of NFBC. I lead a web business (www.izone.com) and know that you will always have your hard core customers but as things grow, you can't have gaps or people will leave.

Fantasy BB takes enough time, that gaps in the user experience are extremely painful

I'd have to echo UFS points. I think the Previous line needs only to be that week. Since I love the weekly competition, I like to know how my team is doing that specific week. Otherwise, as most will agree, live scoring is a great addition.

Another echo!

GREAT Job STATS!

Removing the roster managements two drop downs and condensing it to one was a nice change and overdue.

Now THIS!!!

Awesome to see everything so much better organized into columns.

I'd also love to see the plus or minus on the "Red/just changed" teams to see if you just lost or gained ground...maybe make the "gainers" green, and the "droppers" red.

Great work!

~Lance Lance, I thought the same thing. Red for dropping and green for gaining. I vote for that too.

GREAT new feature! One thing I'd like to see is daily totals by category by team.
