Reminder: You Can Make Friday DL Moves

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Apr 06, 2007 4:27 am

Just a reminder that each Friday you are allowed to move any player who is officially on the DL and in your starting lineup to your reserve roster as long as you have someone on your reserve who can fill that required position. In other words: If you had Octavio Dotel in your starting lineup for Week 1, you can now reserve him for this weekend's games and insert a reserve pitcher into your starting lineup. Dotel went on the DL on Wednesday and this rule allows you to at least get some production out of this position over the weekend.

Again, moves are ONLY allowed for players who are officially on the DL and STATS has them designated as such on your roster. Good luck everyone and have a good holiday weekend.

Thanks for the reminder Greg, I almost missed moving Dotel out!

Greg, I think that was a very nice touch, allowing the DL to be subbed-out in order to salvage the weekend. Very Good adjustment to the League Law. Makes for a much better competition. IMHO
