We now await the next meeting of the owners and players after Rob Manfred announced yesterday that no deal had been reached and the first week of the MLB regular season has been canceled. Let's hope it's just one week and that the two sides can reach a deal this weekend. Unlikely, but the longer it drags on the less it gets done in a meaningful time.
