Greg, I hope for the leagues' sake that is true, and You know much better than I if that's so. But I have read several times on this board where participants of the main event and satellites , have been concerned about the lack of interest when they see teams falling out of the race in their leagues and how that impacts the results as a whole. Now if you feel that is not an issue than, thats good enough for me, but if you are concerned about that, I have always found " Cash " speaks louder than , autographed paraphernalia, perhaps a combination of the two. Anyway, again, if this is not really that big of an issue , than there is no need for monetary incentive every week, if it is a concern than I'm just saying $$$ every week may be the answer. WW I'm not sure what leagues you've been involved in but I have not seen teams throwing in the towel in the NFBC. When someone ponies up $1300 they usually retain interest for the full year. And the suggestion for $$ every week is ridiculous!!! Where exactly is this money going to come from?

My Bad Guys , I guess when I read post here about people bitching about teams that don't check their line-ups every week at the end of the season, that I was seeing just things. Guess I'll never see post like that again ... LOL..!

CR. are you saying that satellite participants, should not participate in discussions concerning the main event..? If that is a popular opinion, I'll be glad to keep my 2 cents to myself, I have no need to participate in discussions where I'm not welcome. I just did not know that was the case. I guess guys that don't play Major League Baseball shouldn't comment on the game, if they never played the game for that matter. Don't play the victim or put words in to my mouth- you commented on what would happen in a scenario that you have never participated in- you were wrong move on.

Bottom line is that is one great thing of many of the nfbc- no easy wins.

CR ... when your right , your right, I probably stuck my nose in to far, where it didn't belong. I had all intentions on laying down the 13 notes for the big show, but the car broke down, the dog got sick, and I had a bad month at the Track. I love this League that Greg and Tom created and I will make every effort to put aside the $$$ for the Big Show next season. Didn't mean to rub anyone the wrong way, but it is very entertaining and educational to participate on this board and I have a hard time not wanting to be part of it. That being said, I will try and refrain from chiming in to much on something I'm not invested in, I probably would have felt the same way if I were in your shoes. Its just that the board in the satellite league is not as active as this one is, Maybe that will change as the season heats up, I hope so anyway. Good- Luck Guys..!

As someone who has almost had a terrible start, and am somewhere in the 350 range, I plan on fighting to the end. This is a marathon and though I think this isn't my year (6 of my top 23) are out right now! I plan on getting to atleast the top 100.

The rule would work as intended in that scenario.Apr. 19 - 9:13 am et

Alfonso Soriano (hamstring) took batting practice prior to Tuesday's game and said he might return to the lineup on Friday.

Soriano, who also jogged in the outfield on Tuesday, says his hamstring feels like it did in 2005 when he missed less than a week.

First DeAngelo Williams, now this. Greg, do you have a magic 8-ball or something? :D

[/QUOTE]No, but if Soriano gets cut in just one NFBC league, I can promise you that I WILL pull him out of the free agent pool!! :D

Doughboys, Cooperstown, Headhunters - thanks for your response to my take. Good luck the rest of the way.

KOQ: Lemme know when he is back in the lineup brother, those batting practive AB's don't count!

KIMO: Jim, I'm going to have to bid your ass up now next season in football for going against me!

Greg, thanks for taking the time. I still respectfully disagree, but still a hot topic. I'll still buy if he shows his face before Monday. Best news out of this was I never realized the power you yielded. Blowing up the STARDUST for WALLA WALLA shows a new level of customer service.

WALLA - Classic post on the STARDUST, you deserve a weekly prize for that. KM
