don't ever confuse howard with any of those two. I won't, as long as you don't confuse Thome with a player that is expected to be healthy and NOT miss series throughout the season... :D

STATS can do this and will get back to me soon with a timetable on a possible change to address the early Monday games. EXCELLENT news Greg!!! Good work!!

Playing the guessing game at noon on Monday has proven to be difficult at times.
[/QUOTE]I've been told by a few owners I can't change this rule mid-season, that they signed a contract under the current rules. So I may have to file this one under the "2008 Rules Changes" and move on. It's a great idea, but I may have jumped the gun on this proposal. It could help some owners and thus that wasn't in the 2007 rules! ;)

greg, you have a good format, injuries happen, that is why having a balanced bench is important. that is why drafting players with multiple positions is important. these guys need to quit whining and play by the stated rules.

I won't disagree, but all these injuries have the best of folks up in arms. Hell, my Content Panel League has six guys on the DL. I can't afford to waive them, so life goes on. Is it my fault from drafting injury-prone players? Probably. So I need to suck it up and pray for better health. But I feel everyone's pain, I really do.

in any event, i'll agree with whatever you decide. though, i'm not sure who would be at a disadvantage if you enhance the submission deadline. it's not like any NFBC owner has drafted or conducted FAAB with this change in mind.

i got to give you a lot of credit Greg, having the patience to wait for an obvious improvement in NFBC gaming. this is a no-brainer that will enhance customer satisfaction.

maybe one day, we can get rid of some of the slacker owners and replace them with serious owners.

You'd be hard pressed to win a mom and pop single league of even 10 teams if you lost your first pick for the year early.

You think you can win an overall of an event of this caliber without your number ONE selection???

Dream on. No rules changes will ever swing that one.

Too tight of competition. Injuries will always impact your success.

Lance, Say hi to Kent and Brian for me. I've met you and Brian in person but haven't had the pleasure with Kent. Have a good time at the game.

Since the NFBC and MLB signed a pact, wouldn't it be a good idea for all NFBC members to show our baseball card nametags at concession stands for free beer? :D Maybe Greg can get that in the next deal. :D

Will do, Dan!

I love the free beer idea!

Should I just send you the check now for our league! (Never...never...never give up!)

I'm hoping to claw my way into 6th or better to "wash" with John (UFS).

We'll see...long season. Some may give up on our league in Aug/Sept...I hope!

Someone put lead in Gregs pockets in the Content League...he's dropping into my viewing range!

Gordon just saw your in 8th overall in the main.

Im very impressed with your team. I thought you were just a football guy, still long way to go.

Nice players on your bench which will help down the road. Having Santana makes you a very dangerous man , i also love Shields. goodluck.

I agree congrats are due from me to Mr. Srebro for a strong start to the season.

I'm impressed. BUT!!! Watch out Mark!!!

8th place looks within striking distance! That would be amazing to see you fulfill your dream.

I actually wish you luck...even though we clash a bit.

~Lance Lance, you sure are right about my team. Adding Figgins and Weaver in May is KILLING my team. Having six guys on the DL is no excuse, but I'll miss Flash Gordon's saves if Myers keeps the job as I'll sink in that category with just Nathan. I'm trying to right the ship, but it's taking in water fast.

I watched King of Queens suddenly go from 10th to 3rd and me from 3rd to 10th, so I'm hoping for the same big push before I personally fly to Los Angeles to berate those damn Angels I have on this team!! :D I'll be there next weekend for an NFL rookie event, so they better shape up soon! :D

yes, i've always been a football guy first, but that is changing. winning at baseball is more skill than football. i want to win the 100K in the NFBC

as for football, i'm prepared to sit out the season if that's what it takes for me to win the 100K in the nfbc in future years.
