2025 MLB Schedule Is Released: Opening Day Is March 27th

Today Major League Baseball released its 2025 regular season schedule and once again the official Opening Day will be the final Thursday of March. Opening Day in 2025 will be Thursday, March 27th and all 30 teams will be playing.

The Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers will play a Tokyo Series the week before, making this the second straight year that two regular season games will be held before the traditional Opening Day. Those two games will be "free look" games in the NFBC as all starting lineups won't be due until the first games for each team on Thursday, March 27th.

The NFBC will again have a prolonged draft week in Las Vegas with the venue still To Be Determined. We are requesting ballroom space from Wednesday, March 19th through Tuesday, March 25th. Opening Weekend of the NCAA Tournement is March 20-23, so it should be another wild and fun time in Las Vegas.

We are requesting a room block at our host hotel and have a couple of options. However, because it is Opening Weekend of March Madness the hotel prices at our potential host hotels are up there in price. We'll discuss more once we have finalized a contract on The Strip.

Anyway, it's great to know the draft dates for Las Vegas this far out and we'll work hard to find a hotel that provides a community feel for our players.
