We are going to have close to 5,000 teams in the NFBC Draft Champions National Championship this year and the vast majority of those signups will come at the $150 and $400 price points. We have already filled one $2,500 entry fee league and have ONLY 4 SPOTS LEFT in the only $5,000 league that we'll offer.

But a popular choice in recent years has been the $1,000 Draft Champions league, which pays the league champion $8,000 and is still part of the DC National Championship. Yes, it's a slightly higher price point, but the competition is good, the league prizes are great and you can still compete for the $40,000 grand prize. Each year we fill 3 or 4 of these leagues, so let's get this one moving today.

We offer 2-Hour and 4-Hour options at the $1,000 price point and these leagues will start 30 minutes after they fill. We'll pay the Top 3 in each league, with nice payouts of $8,000, $3,000 and $1,000. If you're taking the time to draft 50 rounds and manage this team for 27 weeks, you might as well up the anty and win nice league prizes, right?

The $1,000 Draft Champions League was created several years back when Max Hogan came up with the idea to start this on the day that pitchers & catchers reported to spring training. It was a great idea and it led to the creation of this price point in our DC National Championship.

We have never hosted a nightly $1,000 Draft Champions League before, but there does seem to be more interest in higher-dollar DC leagues recently. The $5,000 and $2,500 DC leagues are FAST Extended drafts that get done in less than 3 days, so it's possible that a nightly $1,000 DC could work.

We've added one to Registration just now to see if demand is out there. It's set for Sunday, March 16th at 8 pm ET. We should get done in less than 4 hours and there will be an $8,000 league prize and you'd be part of the overall competition which has a $40,000 grand prize.
