I would also like to say how happy I am that the High Stakes Fantasy Advantage show is back on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio. We will make our triumphant return on Wednesday, February 19th at 10 pm ET and will be on every Wednesday from 10 pm ET to midnight through June. We'll see what the lineup card looks like at that point, but we are back to push fantasy baseball content and NFBC ADPs and draft results right now.
Tom Kessenich will host the show every Wednesday night and he will be joined by Jeff Erickson and other co-hosts from Rotowire.com. Tom and Jeff will make a great team and Jeff obviously is a big NFBC fan/player who really can talk baseball rankings and strategies as well as anyone on the channel. We're excited to be working with Rotowire to present two great hours of baseball content each and every week going forward.
Tom and I first hosted this show back in January of 2012, debuting at the FSTA Conference at the Mirage in Las Vegas. We were at STATS at the time and the contract between STATS and SiriusXM didn't get signed until about two minutes before we were scheduled to go on the air. Rick Wolf and Glenn Colton had the show before us and Matt told them to stick around for another hour if STATS didn't return the contract in time. It got there with two minutes to spare and Tom and I basically hosted this show every week for the next 12 years.
The show was halted last January and our time slot during the baseball season was filled with re-runs. We're glad to have the opportunity to bring fresh, new baseball content to the channel and we'll have some fun through June and hopefully longer. SiriusXM has been a great vehicle for promoting the NFBC and NFFC and we've gotten more new players from this channel than any other promotional vehicle over the last 13 years. Let's spread the word and bring in even more new players going forward.
Tom and Jeff will kick off with this "Beat Jeff Erickson" draft next Wednesday and then we'll bring in players from that draft on the air at 11 pm ET to talk about their teams. We'll have a SiriusXM draft every Wednesday through March and get you folks on the air to talk about your picks and strategies. Plan accordingly and let's have some fun.
