The NFBC Main Event failed to sell out in our inaugural season of 2004, finishing with 195 teams during a season in which prizes were based on 300 teams. We failed so badly that management at Krause Publications told me at the time that I had one more year to prove that this high-stakes contest had any merit or they would shut it down.
Well, you folks stepped up in 2005 and we sold out all 300 spots. Then we sold out all 330 spots in 2006 and we sold out again in 2007 and every year after that. We've had 20 straight sellouts of the NFBC Main Event and this year is headed toward a sellout as well.
Prizes are based on 840 teams and we topped 750 teams last night. As of right this minute, we have 87 spots left and fewer and fewer available leagues. Get in while you can because the Main Event is going to sell out for a 21st season.
Next up is tonight's 10 ET Online league. The next available Main Online league after that is Friday and then we still have a few spots left in the weekend Mains. To find all available Main Event leagues, go to the Main Lobby here:
https://nfc.shgn.com/lobby/baseball#494
That first page shows you the leagues that are closest to selling out. Click on Future for all available Main Event leagues. We also have some spots left in Las Vegas on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 4 pm PT, so grab a spot there if you'd like. Thanks all and good luck.

Re: Less Than 70 NFBC Main Event Spots Remain In 2025
We now have MORE THAN 770 MAIN EVENT TEAMS registered for 2025 with a goal of reaching 840 teams!!! NOW LESS THAN 70 GUARANTEED SPOTS LEFT!!
We still have a puzzle to fit together over this last week, but it's coming together nicely. Take a look at the available leagues over the last six days (there are no Mains available today) and get in while you can. This is looking like a sellout for the 21st straight season!!
Thanks all and good luck.

Re: Less Than 50 NFBC Main Event Spots Remain In 2025
We enter the weekend with over 790 Main Event teams and 51 full leagues, but we still have some work to do.
In fact, we've reached a critical point where we've filled so many leagues to date that the last offerings on Registration now are within days of their draft dates. Please set your KDS preferences after signing up and look for draft spots shortly after the leagues fill.
So what's left on the Main Event schedule? Well, we have a bunch of time slots that are available at times that already filled and they are starting from scratch. We need the TBD entries to ignite some of those and then once signups get rolling you know we'll fill them up. I think there's still time to fill the Sunday 3 pm ET Main Event Online league and even on Sunday night, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning. The MLB game on Thursday for some reason isn't until 3 pm ET, so we may add one more offering that starts at 11 am ET.
We know many of you still want one more team or there are some of you who still need to use your TBDs. We'll jumpstart signups today with an announcement shortly and get some of these final available leagues rolling. We still have time to sell out the Main Event for a 21st season, so let's get busy this weekend and end the drafting season with a BANG!!!
Thanks all and good luck.

Re: Less Than 30 NFBC Main Event Spots Remain In 2025
THERE ARE NOW LESS THAN 30 GUARANTEED SPOTS LEFT IN THE 2025 NFBC MAIN EVENT!!!
We filled both Main Event leagues on Thursday, March 27th at 9 am ET and have created those leagues. That time has been shut off. Thanks everyone and good luck.
However, with MLB not having a first game on Thursday until 3:05 pm ET (WHY??????????????), we have added an 11 am ET Main Event Online League. If you still need one more shot at the $200,000 grand prize, we'll give it to you at 11 am ET. We will easily get this one done before First Pitch, so jump on in and let's close out the season in style on Thursday morning/afternoon.
We now have 52 created Main Event leagues, with room for four more. We have some work to do to get this puzzle to fit perfectly. But I think we'll get it done and sell out the NFBC Main Event for a 21st straight season. Don't hesitate to sign up for one of the last Main Event leagues because once they get momentum with signups they will sell out.
First up is today's 3 pm ET Main Event Online League. NOW ONLY 4 SPOTS LEFT!!!

Re: Less Than 20 NFBC Main Event Spots Remain In 2025
THERE ARE NOW LESS THAN 15 GUARANTEED SPOTS IN THE 2025 NFBC MAIN EVENT!!!
We have a chance to sell out the Main Event for a 21st straight season, but we're going to need people to find a home soon. We still have several TBD entries and very few options left. We currently have 54 full leagues with a shot of reaching our goal of 56 leagues.
Here are two times that have the best shot of filling:
Tuesday, March 25th, 11:30 pm ET - 9 Spots Left
Thursday, March 27th, 11 am ET - 11 Spots Left
We also have options on Tuesday at 7 and 10 pm ET and Wednesday at 8 pm ET. We even have a Monday 8 pm ET one that would need a lot of love in a hurry.
I think we can still sell this contest out, so take a look at the remaining times and jump in for a shot at the $200,000 grand prize. Thanks all and good luck.

Re: SOLD OUT: NFBC Main Event In 2025!!!
The passion for the NFBC Main Event amazes even me after 22 years. I'm so happy and proud that we have SOLD OUT this contest each of the last 21 years and it's a testament to this 15-team format and the growth of our fantasy baseball community that this contest continues to sell out and grow each year.
We SOLD OUT the Main Event yesterday and then we added one more Main tonight when it sold out this morning. We are now at 57 leagues and 855 teams, matching our highest totals ever. We'll see if there's enough interest for one more league or not on Thursday at 11 am as we still have one TBD entry looking for a home. If we sell it out, fine, if not no worries. We are BEYOND elated to be at 855 teams.
Thanks all and good luck in these final drafts. EVERYTHING about this season has been a success as we will pay a record amount in prize money this year, $5+ million and still counting today. We'll give final figures when all of the drafting is done.
Enjoy the drafts and enjoy the season ahead. And a BIG THANKS to this fantastic community that has supported us through 22 incredible years.
