Man you guys are old...talking about concerts before I was even born! I wish I was around during the 60's so I could've seen a lot of those artists.
Poopy, there's no way I would've went with the girl, Pantera was starting to get big at that time and I would've wanted to party AND then go to the girl's house.
I don't have any stories that I should be sharing if Eddie's son is reading, they are definitely things you don't want your child doing. We mostly see Christian artist now so nothing crazy ever happens.
I did see Roger Waters this past weekend and was BLOWN AWAY. I'm a huge Floyd fan with over 300 hrs. of their music. Anyways, it was far and away the best concert I've ever been to in my life, which is well over 100. It was at an ampitheatre, so the outside setting made it all the better. They played for over 3 hrs. and performed the "Dark Side of The Moon" in it's entirety. If you closed your eyes, you were taken back in time as the band played everything just as Floyd used to. I seriously thought Gilmour and Waters had settled their riff as I listened to the guitarist play that night.
If anyone is familiar with Floyd, they've always used a gigantic pig that floated over tha audience during songs from the album "Animals", well last week the crowd decided to bring the pig to them causing it to get stuck on a screen and eventually burst and deflate. It was quite a site to see a gigantic, deflated, pig hanging off the screen for half the show. If anyone is a Flody fan at all, they should see if Waters is coming near them soon as this will probably be your last chance to ever hear Floyd songs live in the states.

This one pretty Metal , Def Leppard 1st followed by Scorpions , and then Judas Priest, couldnt hear for a week.
Did see U2 THERE 1ST TOUR , not proud of that one , was chasing a girl at that concert, we got kicked out .
The Stones in Calf with George Thorogood , and J Geil's Band in 1980 , Prince actually came on first , but nobody there was ready for him, he didnt get thru one song get bottles thrown at him by the Hell ANGELS and us.

The Cars for 2dollar's and 50 cent , how do i remember this , nobody knew them , 1st tour at the civic center in providence , then that 1st album blew up.
Bad Company with the group that did radar love, cant remember im fading out
So many more , but just a few and Grant want's to hear your stories. He live's RocknRoll , especially the bands we grew up with.
The Heaven and Hell tour with Dio was insane, but i have to admit Megadeth blew me away.
I work with college kids and when i break out the Megadeth or Sabbath when we are working , they just love it . The louder the better , still rocking at 47 and now with Grant it's a new era. MORE STORIES , everybody.

1988 New Edition- Bobby Brown threw me his crack pipe from the stage.
1990- Tiffany that girl could really sing
1991- Vanilla Ice I am still convinced to this day that when he said if there is a problem yo I'll solve it he was talking directly to me.
1993- New Kids on the block- sure it was a little late for them but I could not score seats when they were so popular.
1994- Milli Vanillia those boys got a bad deal.
Gotta run will give more later- I have a contest on the radio where I may be able to score some Hansen tickets wish me luck.

Ok, since we are listing bands we have seen...here are some I remember -
AC/DC & LA Guns
Suicidal Tendencies & Agnostic Front
Faith No More
Danzig & Soundgarden
Skid Row & Pantera
Kings X, Morgoth and someone else...lowsy, amps WAY too loud...was hearing "chipmunk" talk for 3 days after that crap
Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax and Alics in Chains (twice for this tour)In Philly they stopped the show during Anthrax to pick up chairs from the spectrum floor...during Slayer doing Angel of Death, when Dave Lombardo does the double bass drum roll, there were strobe lights and all you saw were seat cushions from the second level that were ripped out and being thrown all over. It was like it was raining seat cushion...Slayer played last, so by this time, there had been fights, people lighting off bottle rocks in a closed in arena, the 20 minute stop during Anthrax to clear out the seats, so right before Slayer closed it with Angel of Death, Tom Araya yelled into the microphone, "This is our last one you f**king **sholes." They went into the song. Araya must have seen the cushions and chaos also becuase when the song was over, he yelled, "Unbelieveable...good night azzholes...f**king pieces of sh*t." The crowd roared, but I think he really was pissed.
Cro-Mags (Best friend is Puerto Rican and played in a death metal band...during this concert, some skin heads came up to him...they knew him, loved his band, and started buying us beer. One of them was also Puerto Rican and was explaining that not all skinheads were white power people...was nervous at first, after about half dozen Guinesses, I finally got up the balls to request a new beer that had just come out at the time...Red Dog, even buzzed, it was awful!
Primus and Meat Puppets (If you have never heard or seen the Meat Puppets, they ARE as messed up as they look and sing about...the singer and bass player are brothers and must have been dropping acid or licking those mickey mouse stickers parents warn their kids about.
Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ted Nugent, Joe Walsh, Drivin N' Cryin'
Skid Row, Pantera
Pantera, Slayer, Static X, Morbid Angel
Metallica, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, Ramones, Screaming Trees (some others from Lollapolooza)
Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Green Day (another Lollapolooza)
Rolling Stones, Lenny Kravitz
Another Lollapalooza but I can't remember the headliner...
Marilyn Manson, Monster Magnet
Hole (twice...used to date a girl who loved Courtney Love...have to admit, was a lot better than I thought it would be.)
Pink Floyd (saw many people who appeared to believe they really were on the dark side of the moon)
Went to some more that I don't remember offhand...would love to be able to tell you about seeing Nirvana, but apparently if you are 17, get caught sneaking out at 4 in the morning parents assume you are going to see your girlfriend who's parents are out of town for the weekend. And while it wasn't worth it, I can share this very important lesson with any readers in the Camp Lejeune, NC area...while it may be the alligators in New River you are scared of while skinny dipping, it is even more important to bring mosquito repellent!!!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Thats RocknRoll , the girls room was a horrible idea, you would have been better off dragging them in the men;s room, and they would have stayed , you know how the bouncers treat the cuties.Grant will love this one and i can change the snort snort to you making noise's like a raging bull being with these cuties.Weve been thrown out of more then one, can you believe the KINK'S.And yes this does count for seeing Ten Years After, although not the best way.
That feeling of being outside with a concert on and you cant go in is one of the sickest feelings in the world. Nice Job.

Eddie - have to see about the football thing. Would really like to again this year, but have not yet signed up for it. Funds are a bit low currently for me. I'm sure I'll get into something though for NFFC.

I just signed up for everything, it's tough being a fantasy junkie.
Draftmasters 1st
Auction 2nd on friday
Main sat
Ultimate Sun
And the Diesel Diehard league following the auction, three drafts in one day.
The only man to be in both Ultimate super bowls, three in a row would be better than the Packer's start.

That reminds me of the poker pro's who fly around the world to enter every event possible.
They may only win or place high on one or two...but their legend grows as top players because of it!
You are one hard core nut! I'd pass out by the end of the second draft in one day!

Shad and myself dont hang like we used too, but i did run into him about a week ago and he does want to go, so maybe. The only promblem with Shad is he snoar's like a wild Boar , so he will need his own room which in Manhatten can cost quite a bit.So he will need another player to go half's with him.He might, loves the football.I told him i would take half his team financially and help put the team together. But just two, three didnt work if you remember.
