The live scoring is screwed up as well....It has stats for some players and not others right now

However, it was burtally slow the last hour. I didn't say I was making $800 bids based on today's news, but I was making changes based on things that came out. A $1 bid can change everything if it is the right one. You have to wait a month for your 5 magazines to come out so you are a little behind anyway.

Bottom line...in a high stakes competition there shouldn't be these kinds of problems, every minute and dollar of faab is valuable.

[/QUOTE]If this is such HIGH STAKES (which I kinda agree), then why take the chance in waiting to the last minute? Anything can happen from STATs, your internet provider, to your train returning home running late, and even NYC power going out. Sh*te happens, so why run the risk of waiting to do everything at the last minute. It seems like a lot of people had their sh*te together based on what I just saw in my league.

Well, as I said, you make changes based on roster decisions and so forth that teams make on Sunday. There were a few things today. You will find out about them when your 5 magazines come out next month.

I really got the players I wanted anyway, but it's the principle of the thing and the fear that this will happen another time when it will have a greater effect.

[/QUOTE]Don't holler at each other folks, save that for me. I'm still trying to find out what happened, but obviously with the picks announced already there's no turning back. This obviously shouldn't happen and if it does I would expect the deadline to be extended after conferring with me, but that didn't happen from our back-end support today.

Unfortunately, technical errors could happen down the road, so I'd advise everyone to get their FAAB picks set ahead of time if possible. Still, you should expect first-rate service and the system shouldn't have failed today. I'll do what I can to get an explanation but I apologize in advance. We shouldn't have a locked system during the last 30 minutes of FAAB bidding. It just can't happen, not this week or any week during the NFBC season. But it did.

Maybe in a few years you will pass me lifetime, given a huge reversal of fortune, but I'm not sure how you can pretend to brag to me right now.

Greg, The system wasn't locked the last 30...it was slow (each screen change took about 30-45 seconds. Each player added, assuming he is on the initial page (no sorts), takes about 4 screen changes.)

And I thought my computer was running slow all day. I was able to complete 2 leagues in time, but wasn't able to complete my 3rd league. I was in such a rush at the end that I mistakingly bid on.....and won :rolleyes: Marlon Anderson, instead of Marlon Byrd.

[/QUOTE]Well I did intentionally bid on him last week thinking he might get some playing time, but defintely not this week.

I always wait until Sunday to make all of my bids.....today definitely caused some headaches in my household due to the amount of time I spent trying to place a single bid.

To see J.J. Putz available at the top of the FA list was quite alarming. If only I was able to bid on him. Have fun with this mess Greg, hopefully everyone will be as understanding as possible.

The problem you descirbed happen to me once in the last hour and I simply went to 'Transactions' all over agin and it was fine. However, the system was consistently slow.
