2007 NFBC Prize Winners
Here's a few interesting facts from this list of winners:
** Two $100 winner-take-all leagues for a free entry in the 2008 NFBC main event ended in ties. What are the odds of that happening? We also had a tie for the Las Vegas League 7 title and the $1,250 NL Auction League title.
** Jules McLean won an NFBC league title this year and finished 16th overall. This comes one season after winning a league title in the NFFC and finishing first overall through the regular season. Is she quickly becoming the most celebrated female fantasy sports player in the country? Hard to argue against her, that's for sure.
** Speaking of female winners, let's give it up for Katherine Eckert of Los Angeles, California as she finished second in the $650 NL Auction League. She's already signed up for next year and plans on winning a league title then. Congrats Katherine.
** Congrats to our 2006 overall champ, David DiDonato, who won his second straight main event league title. His Vinnie's Team finished 64th overall and he finished third in the Ultimate League, the third straight year he's cashed in that league after winning the title the two previous seasons.
** Shawn Childs won his third main event league title, becoming the only person to win three league titles in four years. Matt Mickle has won two titles in his first two seasons in the NFBC and is now first in our Lifetime Standings.
** Eddie Gillis won his third $1,250 AL Auction League title in four years, while David Longood won his second Ultimate Auction League title in three years. Stay away from those guys in the Auction Leagues!!
** 13 owners have now won two main event league titles in the NFBC (counting Shawn Childs with three). All of the league title winners can be found on the Lifetime Standings as they have an asterisk next to their name for each league title won. Pretty solid list of owners there.
** Our 2004 NFFC grand champion, Mark Srebro, won an NFBC league title this year and finished fifth overall. That's the highest combined finish in our two high-stakes events for any single owner.
** James Cummings became the only owner to win two free 2008 entries as he won two $100 winner-take-all leagues. Fortunately, he plays in enough of our NFBC and NFFC events to use them.
Great year everyone. Congrats.

Thank you, Tom. Can you please mail me out a tax form? I don't think I ever sent one in before. At least not that I remember.
