Division winners

Going back to last Spring the content panel picked division winners. I had the Angels, Cubs, Phillies, Padres, Indians, Yankees. 4 out of 6 and the other 2 close. Anybody do better?

My pre-season spreadsheet where I project wins based on cumulative starter stats had the following:

AL East - Yankees, Red Sox

AL Central - Indians

AL West - Angels

NL East - Mets, Braves

NL Central - Cubs

NL West - Padres

4 for 4 in the AL. Only 1 for 4 in the NL, but real close to hitting 3 of 4 there.

Performed as expected (+/- 2 games):

Pirates (pred 68 wins)

Blue Jays (84)

Rangers (75)

Mets (90)

Brewers (81)

Padres (89)

Biggest over-achievers:

Colorado +15 games

Arizona +14 games

Biggest disappointments:

White Sox -13 games

Florida -12

D Rays -11
