The Countdown Clock Is Back

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Nov 30, 2007 10:07 am

I can't believe I forgot to set the Countdown Clock on our home page immediately after the 2007 season was complete, but it's back on the home page now. I think we were all worn out from this past season to even notice that it wasn't there. Anyway, it's back on the home page and we have 105 days until Draft Day!! :D

Wow, in less than 100 days we'll be picking draft spots and league designations. Are you ready yet?? Don't wait too long to get your spot reserved, your plane tickets purchased, your hotel secured, and your Cheat Sheets updated. Draft Day will be here before you know it!!

One quick suggestion: If you are planning to draft in Las Vegas, PLEASE take care of your travel plans ahead of time. The weekend of our draft is ConExpo, a HUGE construction trade conference that fills up Las Vegas. Many hotels are already full and airline tickets will just get more expensive the closer we get. We have an incredible group rate at the Flamingo ($189 per night), which is hard to beat as many folks will tell you. Scanning Vegas for that weekend, it's hard to find anything close to that. But our group rate is only good through early February, so get your hotel room booked now if you can. We also have a limited number of rooms under that rate, so don't wait until the very end.

Okay, that's it. Time to get back to my rankings and ratings for our first issue of Fantasy Sports Magazine. We go to press in another month!!
