We're glad to add another original member back for a fifth season as the father-son combo of James and Kevin Cummings of New York City will be back in the Big Apple again. Welcome back guys.

Okay, Rick Gromek is going to start making the NFBC Charter Member hats now and put scripting on one side for you. If you're on this list and want the scripting with your team name, just post here what you want on there and how many hats you want. I'll pay for the first one and just ding your card on file for $20 more for any additional hats. You can order as many as you want.

Got it. Don't hold me to it because who knows if I'll even be around then, but NFBC jerseys are a GREAT idea for 2013!!

Scary... very scary... I was thinking to myself. I should check in on the NFBC boards, can't remember if I signed up or not yet.

There's Greg, he can't even relax he's so amped up on Mt. Dew. Running around with friggin' hat offers like a spidermonkey. Green Bay is winning, Greg's moustache is spinning.

And I want a hat with DYV on it please!

Dyv I remember when you used to LIVE on our NFBC boards!!!

Folks, I'll admit that Dyv may have helped the NFBC survive that first year as he brought in just enough friends from Leaderboard Sports to get us under the $100,000 loss mark and convince management to go forward!!

Dyv recruited folks for our contest in baseball and football and we're here today to talk about it. Welcome back my friend and I will set you up for the main event in Las Vegas and buy the first case of beer!!

I'm going to shoot Meat Loaf an e-mail now and see if he wants a 5-year NFBC hat!!!

He can't tour now, so maybe he will return. Thanks man and let me know if you want any action in the auction leagues.

Oh, and my moustache has finally thawed out from Saturday's Packers' game. But it gets another chance to freeze this Sunday night before we head to the Super Bowl!!

[/QUOTE]I don't think he wants to win that award, but yes there were over 30 signups that year counting the auction leagues from Leaderboard Sports. In fact, if you will recall some folks were concerned that too many Leaderboard guys would be in the same main event leagues in Las Vegas and that collusion could take place. Things have changed since then, but there's no question each guy from LBS wanted to win for himself, not for LBS.

Life has changed a lot for all of us since 2004, but it's great to welcome a lot of those guys back.

Mark Janik of Valhalla, New York becomes our 54th original member to join us for NFBC V as he just signed up for the main event in New York. Mark likes the idea of the Charter Member hat, but he thinks a better idea is "Buy 4 years of the main event, get the 5th one free!!" I told him I'd take his idea under consideration...NOT!!!
