15. Anthony Resino Nice, got my first pick #9 - Hope Rick Thomas doesn't steal my picks on the way back. Makes me curious who he likes there. Maybe Cabrera or Howard?

RT Honestly, I respect what you've done in the NFBC. I never researched your picks and never will. I just assumed that if you got the #10 pick that you probably wanted it for a reason and Cabrera looks real nice there. With that being said, I'm not going to spend one second "researching" your picks as I'm sure you're not going to search the forum looking up "Crazy likes" so and so.
Should have HUGE year with Detroit. This guy could be better than Manny when it's all said and done. I think he's that good. I do think it's funny when he stood inside the home park he says, "I see lots of doubles". I'm sure the Tigers brass were hoping for him to replace that with homers.
I see a .320-30-130 rbi guy and with A-rod more than likely regressing a bit, I think they will be neck and neck in 2008. Not bad for a 10th.......or 9th pick.
It should be seriously competitive in this league. I'm hoping my plan works. If it doesn't I hope to learn something this year from veterans like yourself who have proven themselves year in and year out.
I look forward to competing against you.
If I don't win this year it's back to the drawing board.

RT For the sake of the league I hope you start your draft the same way.
I have a couple satellites here and I will definitely try two totally different strategies. The funny thing when talking so much about the first 3 rounds is you really can't go wrong. Let me take a wild guess here, every player in the first round is going to be a "good" pick. I think you separate yourself from the pack in the later rounds, early rounders are obvious and the big thing is to stay away from injury guys early.
As far as strategy goes, I bet 10 of 15 league members will have the same strategy going in (whether they stick to that plan is another story), still, strategy becomes less important than player valuation IMHO.
Whether I get Cabrera or Howard at #9, either way I'm happy.
