Failed by the coin flip......

Post by a » Wed May 05, 2004 4:45 am

When setting my lineups for this week, I had a ptching spot and 2 pitchers to choose from. I tried breaking down the 2 pitchers, analying thier opponents and came up with a dead heat.

So I actually flipped a coin and ended up stating Robertson (was blown out his previous start, but has pitched well all year besides that, plus I needed Ks. They played the Angels who not exactly tearing things up and then OAK).

I sat Davis (Had a very good start but was facing the Red Sox who always knock the Indians around and he was facing Martinez, then he would face BAL.)

So far, it doesn't look good. Robertson got blown out and Davis beat the Sox. Damn the coin.
Just rolling with the dice.

Yea, I have my sob story too.... I've been sticking with Randy Winn all along and stuck with him last week too. Nearly changed my mind in the last second, but didn't.... That meant I had Steve Finley on my bench as he hit 5 HR... Man - That kills me. Winn is now on my bench and Finley hit another last night. At least I got it right so far this week....

Pete
OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.
