Time For Live Chats?

Okay, believe it or not, Draft Day is six weeks from this weekend. Do you know where your studs and sleepers are?

With Draft Day closing in, it's time for us to start some live chats on these Message Boards. I know Tom has sent out some invitations to industry guys like Ron Shandler, Nate Ravitz, Matthew Berry and others and we'll try to get at least one of them on here each of the next 5-6 weeks. Tom and I will also host one per week going forward, giving you two live chats per week.

We're just finishing up our second issue of Fantasy Sports Magazine and we'll start the live chats next week. If you have an industry pro that you want to see on a live chat, let me know and we'll go out and recruit him. If you have any other features you'd like to see or topics you want covered, let us know that as well and we'll address them in the coming weeks.

It's time to get this Message Board revved up. Come and join us for the live chats and learn a little more before Draft Day.

Lance maybe you can take one of the March dates- you are only a few spots below Zola lifetime. I'll restrict the questions to AL and NL only auctions. This way you don't have to show up and waste your time and can instead think of more "Perry Van Hook is so old" jokes.

[/QUOTE]No need to get mad Todd- I would think you would think it is a fair question to ask why the guy who has never cracked the top 100 in four attempts and finished with the lowest batting avg in the nfbc last year and one of the 5 lowest ever has to offer via a question and answer session?

I suppose you did not like my top ten things the Captain had to do before draft day post last year- that is a shame got a lot of positive feedback to that. I have learned to love the Captain and look forward to meeting him in person.

I was unaware that you had won an auction league in the nfbc, if I was I would have congratulated you- accept this as a late congratulations. Don't be mad at me still by Vegas I want to drink a beer with you. Love Chest

Was just commenting to someone on a pm that Todd is more of a numbers/valuation expert than an expert fantasy baseball player. I think it makes sense for him to do a chat in that context. Is that fair to say, Todd? Nothing wrong with being a specialized academic.

Other than Todd,(Standup guy!) Are any of these industry experts going to actually fork some bucks to play? I know Shandler won't. God forbid he get caught drafting with the common folk. I'd rather hear from some of our own experts here at the NFBC. Shawn, Eddie etc.

I'd love to have anyone from BaseballMafia.com that wants to participate. Heck, it can be BaseballMafia.com every Wednesday in February if they want to take that day or night over. Jeff Erickson would like to play and he's seeing if his schedule will allow him too. Make sure you're here when it's day to chat and "persuade" him into signing up.
