I don't think you are gonna be happy with your hitting numbers.Papelbon in R3 P2 seems awful early to me plus I have to ask why 3 closers plus 2 closers in waiting? Your infield bothers me too. My take is you are in for a lng season but that is just my take.

Without running any numbers, looks power- and BA-deficient, which means RBIs will be subpar as well. Not to mention a ton of batters with questionable playing time, so Runs probably is below avg too.

Pitching should be top-tier, poor hitting will drag you down to the middle of the pack.

If Boston wins the World Series again, you might be ok. How do you pronounce the word "car"?

Nice offense, potential stankish pitching.

Im trying to one day get good enough to try a NFBC Main event. ( Play alot of NFFC)

Just doing this to past the time till Football.

I did want to have 3 closers, Had both my closers last year get hurt. And the other two came from losing it in the later rounds from not studing enough.

I did learn that one key is to really know the last 5 rounds of players. And put more work into the end of the draft.

R. I., I would start memorizing the free agent outfielders because Baldelli is oft-injured, Cust shaky, and Owens and Willits may not play much.
The biggest help would've been getting a power hitting corner IF in the 3rd rd rather than Paps, so that's what I'd look for in the FA pool foremost. Dmitri and Nomar aren't likely to get enough ABs to be able to play them every week without a lot of damage, and not a lot of pop there even when they do. You'll need another OF or two as well. You've got plenty of speed, so I wouldn't spend a dime of FAAB going after SBs, or Saves for that matter.

Good luck, you never know when you might trip over a gem on the w/w!

Thanks! An obvious hole at 2B, but you should be able to fill that with a mediocre MI off the w/w, don't much like the OF with Pierre, Wells, Guillen and Ethier, especially troublesome if Pierre and Ethier split time; of course a Pierre trade into a full-time job would give you a nice bump but still not a good value in the 7th. Overall, hitting still looks only average. Sheets is decent where you got him, but still K-challenged with him and bottom-rung if he gets hurt again. Your staff overall doesn't impress either.

Unlike the other two teams posted above, you've got balance, but in this case that doesn't necessarily look like a good thing. Good luck though, anything can happen once the game begin. ;)
Just got to clarify that BJ Upton will be my starting 2B. I admit I jumped on Pierre. I just figure he will produce speed whatever his role is.

Thanks! Any thoughts from any of the NFBC veterans out there? Just looking for some feedback.
Overall, it's an okay job. But if pierre gets traded, u just got a STEAL of a pick in the 7th and 20th rounds. Team could blossom.

Your pitching staff is sneaky good. I like what u did with it without investing any top picks.

Forgot to mention that damon was a NICE value. 'Okay' may not have been strong enough. Consider it a 'good' job.
