KDS Deadlines For NFBC Live Events

Okay, we are going to set the official KDS deadline for the main event, Super Draft Leagues and the Ultimate Draft Leagues. The KDS deadline will be noon, CST on Wednesday, March 5th. Please have your KDS preferences set by that time and hopefully we'll pick the leagues and the draft spots after that.

To set your KDS preferences, do this:

Click on your team name.

Look in the upper right hand corner for MY SETTINGS and click.

Pull down to DRAFT PREFERENCES.

There you'll see the default at 1-15 in that order.

Now set your preferences the way you'd like using each spot JUST ONCE. If you were picked randomly first, where would you like to draft. If it's 1, then put 1 in the first box. If you'd rather be in the middle of the draft and like 7, put 7 there. Continue the process, realizing that if you were randomly picked at a certain spot where would you like to be seeded.

Here's an example of what we'll take from your page:

1,7,6,3,4,14,15,2,5,8,9, 13,10,11,12

We should be able to pick the Supers and the Ultimates next Wednesday if all credit cards are processed. We are going to start to do those leagues today. Our goal would be to pick the main event leagues and draft spots next Thursday or Friday. We appear to be on pace to make that happen before next weekend.

I wanted to push this post up to the top again just to remind folks that we're close to picking the draft spots for the main event, so set your KDS preferences now and finalize them by noon CST on Wednesday of this week. With any luck, we'll announce the draft picks on Thursday morning or Friday morning. It's crunch time and setting your KDS preferences is the first step of winning an NFBC title.

See the first post above for directions on how you do that.

If all credit cards have gone through for the Ultimates and Supers this week, we can announce those draft spots on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning for sure. The KDS deadline is the same for those events.

I think we'll be able to announce the nomination orders for the LV and NY auction leagues by Tuesday or Wednesday as well. I'll just have to check with Jill to see if there are any outstanding payments first, but that would be the only holdup with those.

Wow, this is actually coming together!!

I love it when plans do that. Get ready because by next week at this time, all the leagues should be set. Awesome.

Oh, one more thing. My goal if we can finalize all of the cities in the main event by Wednesday and run credit cards is to announce the draft spots on Thursday morning or Friday morning. It's more likely that it will be Friday morning because we'll have to run all of the credit cards through and such, but either way I'd like to start it at 10 a.m. CST and go city-by-city, league-by-league with the draft picks.

We've done that before and we'll get hundreds of folks on the Message Boards at one time. It has a Christmas feel to it. And I promise (this is for NFFC vets), we'll only do it once this time.

Tom will have the KDS's correct as we'll go into each individual page to get them.

So that's kind of the plan for now. I thought it might excite a few people and show to those folks on the fence that the countdown has begun. We're almost at 375 now and we won't go above 390 for sure, so here we are. 390 can work perfectly in each city and then that's enough for me. So it's 375 or 390 and I'm ECSTATIC with either.

Now, who's getting excited?
