BaseballHQ.com To Provide Baseball Forecasters

I'd like to thank Ron Shandler for once again providing a copy of The Baseball Forecaster to our 2008 NFBC main event principal owners as Ron will be shipping those to us and allowing one per team in the goodie bags. I know that many of you ordered one of these for December delivery and you've gained a lot of valuable information from it already, but you can never have enough copies of this great publication.

And if you need a crash course before the big day, pick up your goodie bag early and start reading as fast as you can!! :D Again, thanks Ron as this is a great addition to the goodie bag.

In addition to the goodie bag, we'll have a yellow Sharpie for everyone, a yellow notepad with pen to take notes, 4 magazines and a baseball 8x10 photo. We'll keep trying to get more from the industry as it's a work in progress, but enjoy the goodies, especially the Baseball Forecaster.

Thanks again Ron. Great support once again for the NFBC. In return, check out the baseballhq.com web site as it's as good as it gets in the industry.

When can we get those "early"? Like, we go to the Donald E Stevens center at what time to get it before Saturday at noon?

Greg, if participants have no need for the Forecaster, can you do something wortwhile with it??? Like give it to someone who can use it?

I don't see the purpose in getting it ON draft day.

BTW, it's quite generous of them. I just wish it was given out before the main event.

True Patrick, we hate to look a gift Forecaster in the mouth. Ron and Greg/Krause coming together and offering the Forecaster as an incentive to sign up would make more sense than the draft day goodie bag. Maybe a $20 charge for the four magazines and the Forecaster? Just a thought. Thanks again, Ron.

My Forecaster is so dogeared I can use the second one. I really enjoyed the Graphic Pitcher (?) that Shandler Enterprises gave out one year- maybe they should think about exposing us to "new" products.
No problem. I'm sure there are many who feel the same way as I do. Dan's suggestion has merit. Would this be considered for next season. It could benefit every involved.
Agreed, one Forecaster is enough for me - how about a discount code for the HQ online product instead?

Set up a table so we can donate our extra copies of the Forecaster and Magazines to the non-main event players who may have not purchased one.

Win-win!

We can be generous as well as showing how many of us already purchase these things pre-draft!

~Lance Sounds good Lance. And remember, the Forecaster comes in handy during the season as well when you're looking at free agent pickups or prospects. Folks who don't have one of these will be happy to have one for the first time after Draft Day as well and hopefully they will order one next December like most of our NFBC veterans do.

If you already have one and want to donate one back, please do. Ron had a limited number left after production and was kind enough to give us 390 copies. A co-manager or auction league manager who isn't in the main will gladly take one if you already have one.
