Baffled why it has not happened yet.

Thanks,

Joe Martino Well, you need to get a major TV network involved to reach a level even close to that. Then you'd have a major sponsor who sees the benefit of being on national TV every week, maybe every day. Trust me, you won't get to $1 million by increased registrations. You need sponsorship revenue, TV revenue to make that happen.

I'll say in my lifetime we'll see it. How's that?

The top prize isn't my main priority, honestly. Does $300,000 make you jump out of your seat more than $250,000? Does $150,000 make you jump out of your seat more than $100,000? I think there are certain levels that make you go "wow" and we'll get there, but honestly I have bigger goals in mind like more options for you to win big prizes. That's what I'll provide soon enough.

Meat is hosting some game show. I was hoping he'd return because his world tour got postponed until summer, but it looks like we lost him again. Bummer.

Greg, ever given any thought to expanding the prize structure to keep teams interested until the end? More spcifically maybe weekly/monthly winners or prize money awarded for finishing atop each category? Just a thought.

Greg, do you still collect sports cards? If so, does it sadden you to see the $$$$ amounts attributed to newer ones, over older ones.

Why are newer cards worth so much, yet my Rickey Henderson collection could barely get me a stick of gum....it's not that bad, but you get the drift.

Rick Gromek is supplying the jerseys. Rick was an NFBC member last year, he understands the mentality of the fantasy player and he's going to be a great partner for the NFBC. I think when the champs see these jerseys, they are going to want to order ones for themselves going forward. People can personalize each year they won in the NFBC on hats, jerseys, jackets, etc. I don't have the funds to do this for everyone, but I'm glad to have a vendor who knows our audience and can work with the customers to get this done. Anything you want now involving the NFBC logo, you can get through Rick.

Outside of Sheets and Gallardo, who will be the Brewer's most valuable starter at the end of the year in terms of fantasy production?

Speculating for saves in the Event Gagne goes down.... how would you rank the following:

Torres, Turnbow, Mota, McClung, Riske

Thanks Villanueva should be solid this year and will evolve as the end-of-the-rotation starter. He's capable of 10 wins, 120+ Ks and an ERA under 4.00 again. Nothing wrong there.

I'd think that Turnbow would be next in line, but like I said last week the Brewers like to stay set with Mota or Riske in the 7th, Turnbow in the 8th, so maybe Torres gets the ball in the 9th if Gagne goes down. All I know is I saw Bobby Crosby just crank a homer off Gagne last weekend as he gave up three runs in an inning.

~Lance Lance, you must be buying beer inbetween innings. Have you ever seen how many throws the first baseman makes to the other infielders while the pitcher is warming up? One of those little grounder throws and HE'S DONE!! :D

~Lance We don't hook up with the winners very often, unfortunately. We'll figure that out in the future. Right now we mail them the big check and ask them to take a good picture to send back to us for the cover photo. Rob Benetti and his wife drove up to Iola in 2006 and we took him in our company studio, but all of the other grand champions have supplied their photos after they got the big Publisher's Clearing House check. :D

Some of us would NEVER quit on our teams, whether we're fighting for first, third or 11th place. The Lifetime Standings is incentive enough for any serious player not to bag any season. But this is an endless chase from my viewpoint and not one you'll ever solve.

The new card market is all about supply and demand. They have tried to print the fewest cards for some sets so that they cost more and are worth more. Unfortunately, you don't grow an industry by creating less. And as much as everyone wants cheap cards with gum, in today's investment mentality nobody will buy 99-cent packs with gum in it. It's been tried again by Topps and they didn't sell.

The younger generation saw baseball cards as an investment and they saw Magic the Gathering as interactive. Magic dominated when baseball cards were struggling.

Who of these younger arms going after round 8 will reach 200 k's and be a huge value to 26 owners? Billingsley, Maine, Burnett, Wainright or Snell?

Honestly, getting a ticket at Lambeau isn't all that tough. We buy extras all the time. Season ticket holders own every ticket, but scalpers buy them and sell them outside all over the place. Knowing where to go around the stadium, you can usually get tickets a little over face value. It's the greatest football stadium around and such a thrill to spend most Sunday's there in the fall. You can bury me in Lambeau if you want and I'd be happy.
