is it also true that he threw up on himself?

I have been that guy, and I am willing to believe that most of you had your days.

I am sure I offended what many would call a better group then a bunch of Baseball Dorks in NYC. We are a big family - cut your brother some slack.

Going to Opening Day and expect that someone around me will act much worse. Hope everyone makes it home safe.

not to change the subject back to the original thread topic, but, do we START making FAAB bids this Monday, which go into effect the following Sunday (30th), or do we make bids for this Sunday (23rd)? I assume the former...

Can anyone read? There's been more than one post saying it was the most annoying thing they've ever experienced in the NFFC AND NFBC.

Obviously it bothered many people in the other drafts.

I wasn't there so I have no idea what happened, but to write it off as "just another drunken episode" cannot be good for the event. Some people draft with their kids, I'm sure they didn't enjoy it.

Maybe next season I will yell AMEN! PRAISE THE LORD! HALLELUJAH!! with every selection just to see how people react ;)

I seldomly agree with Patrick on these boards but do here. Not as much in Vegas- but lots of guys bring their sons every year. If even one child is there (which I think is fantastic that they are) then it has to be dealt with.

To me dealt with does not neccesarily equal banning from this contest either.

You have to think about it Tom was in a tough postion. People on here are split 50/50 and it is not in the heat of the moment either. If you toss the guy out who finishes his draft and that kills the integrity of that league.

Fantastic event once again. Auctioneers all very good--Brady great. Can I signup for next year yet?

This is an adult event.

To allow children into the draft may violate more rules than behaving in a loud manner does. (IMO)

I was in the auction and have to agree with the people who say he wasn't annoying in the auction...with the exception of the burping, which was a little gross at times...i wasn't at the main event, so I can't say if it was worse or not...

But I do not think he is the person to blame. Instead, Greg should take a long look at Tom, who specifically instructed the auctioneer to "pass out a round of shots every 15 minutes until someone blacks out, and then make it every ten."

Seriously, if anyone has a problem with any person in our event please come talk to me (or Greg or the people running our other cities). I did speak to Scott after someone spoke to me about his behavior and he did seem to quiet down after that.

We want everyone to enjoy the experience so if any issue comes up that prevents that from happening please come talk to us. That's why we're there - to make sure the event runs smoothly and everyone has a good time.

My apologies to anyone in New York whose experience was tainted in any way this year.

You and your boys have SOOOOOOO much fun that I just know the three of you are coming back each year!!! :D And every year going forward we'll have March Madness on the same weekend as the NFBC draft as rumor has it that Easter will be that early again in 120 years. Seriously.

Thanks again David. What a weekend of fun in Las Vegas.

the stupid asian jokes on the names were pretty tasteless as well. I dated a japanese girl for some years and this kind of crap really bothered her. I am pretty sure if he had yelled other racial epitaphs over the color of the skin of the player people would have been pissed.

I don't think it is ok just to say 'boys will be boys'. I am confident there are many in the draft who ere offended but wanted to focus on their draft and leave well enough alone.

I actually like the person in question, we just need to have a more civil draft is all. No need for banishment if he takes the input and behave a bit better.

I am sure based on all the feedback tom will monitor a bit closer/talk to him before the draft. Case will be closed

I also sat next to Scott and I kept telling him that Tom was looking every time he yelled something. It seemed to work pretty well, as he believed me. If you think about it logically, somebody in Scott's league isn't going to tell him to stop drinking. After all, we're trying to win and Scott had a pretty good team halfway through.

Yes he threw up on himself at least once but it was more like a big string of slobber.

Not like this was a guys night out or a bachelor party or ven the Fisher party. We all pay quite a bit of money for the draft and some of us to get there and I would hope I never have to deal with this kind of crap in a league I am in. I certainly wouldn't have had issue saying something!

Just kidding. Scott's a good guy! He just like his JW Blue a little! He's as harmless as a big puppy dog!

Just a quick update on the rosters: STATS has them all finished and we'll be able to make them live shortly. We just have about 20 corrections to make on write-ins or data entry errors that I'm correcting now. I'll get those to STATS shortly and then we should be able to give everyone access to their live event teams. Good luck all.

I think Tom has 9:00 AM in the office pool for when this question will be asked. How about the avg pick stuff they do every year for the live drafts?
