Who has decided to enter the NFBC and where?
Ari Benjamin and his beautiful wife, Lauren, of New Jersey are the latest tag team to sign up for the NFBC draft in New York. Ari and Lauren promise not to fight over picks and the $100,000 grand prize will go to Lauren if they win (right Ari?). Welcome to the expanding NFBC family (I said expanding, not expecting) and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize.
By the way, is it time for a new thread or should we see how many pages we can fill up on this baby? Ken, you started this one, I'll let you make the call!!!

I would say just let it ride.
I think most people know to just click on the last page to see the latest update and the energetic or bored can go back through the pages and see everyone who has entered

A busy day of calls and e-mails was followed by the welcome signup of Alexander Hayden of New York, who will be joining us at the Javits Center for the NFBC draft. Welcome to the growing NFBC family Alex and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize.
And yes, we will let this thread ride!!! Here's to reaching 30+ pages of names before March 15th.

I apologize in my announcement of Alexander Hayden joining the NFBC for two reasons. First, he's from New Jersey, not New York. And secondly, in my haste to announce him, I didn't realize that this is the same person who won $200,000 in this year's WCOFF. So we have a grand champion in our field to go along with last year's WCOFB champion. Drinks are on those guys!!!
Seriously, congratulations on the football title Alex and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize in baseball. It's a new year, so don't be afraid to contend for this one and jump back into that higher tax bracket.

Let's welcome the New York tag team of Scott Israel and Jason Kass to the NFBC as the dynamic duo will be drafting at the Javits Center. Best of luck guys in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize. Scott had been inquiring about the number of signups for weeks and weeks and finally took the plunge, rather than chancing it with a last minute signup. We're glad you joined us Scott and you're now guaranteed a spot in New York.

Just as I suspected, New York is on a roll. Let's welcome the long distance tag team of Atlanta's Scott Alper and New Jersey's Jeff Goeke as they join forces in the NFBC draft at the Javits Center. Scott is flying in from Atlanta for this draft and looking forward to a good event. Welcome aboard guys as we continue to expand in New York and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize.

Now we're cruising. Here's a special thanks to CreativeSports.com, which is sending one writer to each of the draft locations. Scott Zeidman of California will be representing CreativeSports.com in the Las Vegas draft, Dave Gawron of Rhode Island will be representing the team in Chicago, and Brian Walton of Connecticut will be representing the online information site in New York. Welcome to the growing NFBC family guys and best of luck in all your leagues and in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize. Special thanks to Lawr Michaels of CreativeSports.com, who is sponsoring all three guys. See you guys at the draft.

I kind of figured NY and Chicago would get a large late sign up. Lots of population within driving range of the big cities whereas Vegas requires some travel plans.
I would think Vegas is getting dangerously close to the dreaded last full league stage. Those planning on doing Vegas would be well advised to jump in now while there's still water in the pool

Yes, and people waiting until the last minute to sign up should also keep in mind that if they sign up after a league in that city fills with 15 owners, the next league may not fill up, and some last-minute signups will be left out with no full league to get into.

Good news to report for the Las Vegas Auction Leagues as the tag team of Jesse Herron and Dustin Ashby have signed on to compete in the NL Auction League, bringing our total there to nine. Jesse and Dustin are both registered for the NFBC and have decided to play two, as Ernie Banks liked to say. Welcome aboard guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $7,500 first place prize.

Let's keep it going in New York, where we always expected a lot of late signups. Our latest NFBC signup for the Javits Center is James Bores, who states he is not related to Scott Boras. Welcome to the growing NFBC family James and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize.

Let's give it up for Andy Shane of Lava Records, who has signed up for the NFBC draft in New York at the Javits Center. Welcome to the growing New York contingency, Andy, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize. Andy is also interested in the AL Auction League and with a little prodding and more positive feedback from those New York owners we may have another entrant in that one. Sorry for the pressure, Andy, but some die-hards want to bid and draft that weekend!!!
