Should We Provide Food On Draft Day?

I agree with everyone that a full blown food spread that requires an events fee is not needed. However, I like the idea of a Pizza cart and/or Hot Dog stand. Those that would like something extra can do so at their expense and it would be a nice alternative to just potato chips.

It is difficult enough to plan a draft with 390 teams next year might even be bigger. I think supplying food isnt necessary. I have no problem bring my own food or snack. It is just another thing to worry about.

I don't think food is necessary. People should know the layout by now, so they can easily bring something if they want food more substantial than chips, etc.

What is unacceptable is only getting one drink ticket at the main event....whatsupwiththat?!?!?....did the powers that be get frequent flyer miles for all of the tickets they saved? Or free passes at Disneyworld?

Hi,

Just to pile on:

1. Main event: Let's not raise the costs unilaterally for everyone. If the hotel will put an over priced hotdogs or pizza with the overpriced bar, then great. Those who are starving can grab something. Perhaps another idea is a Starbucks sponsored coffee/tea cart with munchies?

2. Auctions: Definitely the pizza is highly appreciated and important when these drafts can go 7 hours...
