So much for Alfonso having "ZERO" shot at leading off this year.

I guess that may not be an option for the Cubbies now.

I think something that hasn't really gotten that much notice is the fact that Soriano logged a game at 2b - that's one down 9 to go for eligibility in alot of leagues.

I'd love to use him as my MI. Wait a second, I've got Durham there. Looks like I've got the All-Hamstring Team.

As far as the slow start, that's ok. He's a streak hitter. He had one rbi in his first 74 at-bats last year, he's already doubled that production in 1/4 the at-bats.

I think this guy is finally locked in!

Only thing that is frustrating right now is they aren't running him at all. If he is locked in like this and you aren't going to use his speed then put him in a spot where the 6 HR's he has hit will produce some runs. Luckily the bottom of the Cubs order can get on base and it hasn't all been wasted, but c'mon Lou, run him or move him into a run producing spot in the order!

[/QUOTE]Talk about on fire. He's got 7 homers and 15 rbi's in his last 9 games hitting .541.

He can still hit 40 homers this year. If it's a homer happy Soriano I get without the stolen bases, at this point I can deal with that, although 20 steals would be nice.

Soriano wont get 10 sb's at this rate. Watching the game tonight, 1st and 3rd, 1 out down 1 Broxton enters. Broxton doesn't worry about baserunners and Soriano never even thought about it. If his legs were healthy he would have been on 2nd, but they didn't even attempt it until 3-2 and he wasn't running that hard or well. As a Soriano it sucks big time. Guess I really don't belong cause I thought 25 would be easy for him, but 10 is a reach at the moment.

soriano can barely walk- let alone run. the cubs should win- but they have paul konerko leading off.

I drafted him in the main event thinking last year's injuries were likely a thing of the past...I had him projected for 25 steals but now I am also worried that 10 might be about it. Without that hot streak, my 23rd rd pick - Ryan Church- would have the much better stats hands down...Even with Soriano's hot streak, there isn't much difference between the 2 players this year.
