Will Ellsbury be the biggest bust this year? If he platoons with Crisp and bats eighth when he plays, he will be one of the worst picks this year. Do you think they are showcasing Crisp for a possible trade?

I think they are just showcasing Crisp.

Ellsbury isn't hurt and he hasn't done enough bad to be tossed into a platoon to this point.

That was my first thought when Ellsbury was out of the lineup again.I know its early but i would be worried about a 8th round draft pick not playing.

What are they showcasing?

Did everyone forget what kind of player he is?

When showcasing someone, is it wise to hit him ninth in your lineup?

Is it still showcasing if the guy strikes out three times and goes 0-4?

If he goes 15-25 with a few homers and stolen bases during the week, do you trade him and put the cold player in your lineup?

What happened to putting our best players on the field everyday?

I think I saw Juan Pierre and Coco Crisp talking the other day.

They both had mischievous grins.

Crisp had injuries during Spring training. So they must be "showing" that he is healthy.

Ellsbury went yard. So us Ellsbury owners can feel much better now.

[/QUOTE]C'mon Uncle Dan!

Can't you see they are OBVIOULSY showcasing Crede for a trade! :D :D :D

They have Josh Fields hitting under .200 in the minors...and are batting Crede 8th...and it's working out just fine to raise his trade "cred".

(I had credit...but thought Chest would like the word CRED more!) :D (Who's drunk?)

They may even be paying off opposing pitchers to throw fat BP strikes so they can unload him faster! ;)

Dough! (Homer-J-style) :D
