If nothing else, Chicago 3, now certainly has the attention of not only Greg/Tom but all the watchdogs around the NFBC-world...

The anti-collusion waive:

Ryan Zimmerman NFBC Las Vegas League 3 LATHAM

He did this so he can never be accused of collusion in the future so we can prevent Bjoak from winning ;) ;) ;)

Seems like a flip of a coin and a 6-week roster spot are required to get him back and then he actually needs to perform when returning. I'm not sure how much anyone is willing to pay for all that.

I actually hired out someone to put a curse on Kouzmanoff (it's all part of my plan to star in Fantasyland 2), but so far it hasn't worked. :(

I'll let someone else deal with Zimmerman. I can only hold 1 roster spot for a player that won't play when hurt, and Furcal has that spot reserved!

Church was a low-level, couldn't stay healthy or be consistently good OF'er. He got on a hot streak for awhile this season before getting hurt. He has some appeal, but nothing that special as far as a w/w player goes. There are guys like him available most weeks.

"was" is the key word. different team and different atmosphere. obviously different results. stop living in the past! ;)

If you were dead wrong on Carlos Zambrano would that mean you should be in the bottom 20 overall?

Duke - u said there were better guys than church available every week via faab. If that's the case, u must have one stellar team. I know you cream yourself twice a day with your thames pickup, but come on dog. Church was better than Tex this year. Stop the church hate'n.

Volquez and mclouth were "low-level" guys b4 this year too.

Euclid doesn't have a female counterpart, but his g/f is named Hypatia. Don't tell him I told you. He likes to keep his private life private.

GG, I think something you are overlooking is that while he was having a good year, he's not coming back from a minor ailment. You say "most" concussions only cost said player a couple games. Well the fact that he will have been out of action for all intents and purposes for about a month, should tell you that his concussion was a bit more severe. And who knows how it will effect him the remainder of the season when/if he returns. I don't think anyone is disputing the fact that he was having a good season until he introduced his head to Mr Escobars knee. But the owner(s) that dropped him may have felt they got peak value and are moving on.
