July 14th $250 League Draft Order

Post by Less than Dave » Wed Jul 09, 2008 6:40 am

hey guys, I know you already have your draft spots and all, but I was wondering if anyone would switch to the Don Mathis league... I tried to get in a $1k or $500 league and when it was determined neither of those would fill, the $250 leagues were already full as well... I know it's unlikely, but thought I'd ask as I'd like to do a midseason league, though not the Don Mathis one...

Dave, I wouldn't want people to switch out of this league and sign up for a league that may not fill up. If the Mathis league were to fill up and somebody wanted to switch we could look into that next week. But at this point, I wouldn't want people to switch out of a full league and end up in a league that isn't full.

Waaaa! how old are you? I didn't realize there were 13 year olds playing high stakes fantasy baseball... anyways, I hardly think that not liking an odd league structure like that makes me a "baby".. if I'm going to spend my hard-earned money (I'm certainly not wealthy) I want it to be on a league that I like the structure of.. grow up.

I was just hoping there might be a possibility I could get in this league since I saw someone had previously wanted to be in the Don Mathis league... just trying to keep options open is all... I guess we'll see if the Mathis league will fill up, then maybe someone would consider switching? Who knows... can't blame me for tryin... I did try to sign up for a midseason league like a month ago after all...

I don't blame you for trying Dave. I wish we were in a stronger position with more signups but realistically I think the Mathis league is our best shot for one more league but at this point I'm not sure that's even going to happen. Greg and I are both sorry that some people who signed up for leagues may not get to be in one. I wish there was something that could be done but if the signups aren't there our hands are tied.

We'll see what the next day brings.

As Wayne mentioned, we are now looking for a pinch-hitter to take his place in Monday night's $250 Draft. Less Than Dave, are you interested? Anyone else? Post a reply and Greg or Tom will be in touch.

Thanks

Thanks I would like to take Wayne's spot. I am currently signed up for the Don Mathis league but that league hasn't filled yet...

Greg,

Not sure what "proper etiquette" would be here but I don't want to get stuck in a league that doesn't fill up so I'd like to take Wayne's spot for Mon night. If you'd prefer me to stay in the don mathis league since i'm already signed up for it, I will. Otherwise, count me in to fill wayne's spot for monday night. contact me 615-585-2512 if needed or by email.

Thank you. Rich
