Stats Error?

Greg/Tom:

It appears that STATS has doubled the AB/HIT totals from today into the Overall stats for the season. This was detected on the Fantasy Year to date totals. Although I cannot be 100% sure, it does seem as if this carried over into the Standings page. Does not seem to have happened in the counting Cats.

Only aware of this as I had specific number of AB's written down prior to the start of the games today and caught what appears to be an error. It is ever so slight, but certainly will effect races and prize money. Hopefully this can be looked into quickly. I have specific teams in at least three instances if needed.

Another question - if a player was ACTIVE today in the CHX-DET game, wouldn't that player be locked into the lineup as active for Tuesday's game? Again, appears to be a switch that I cannot explain. Something is not right here.

I believe all of the stats were doubled. I noticed an individual in my league who was 2 HR's behind me is now tied with me although only 1 HR was hit in the game yesterday.

In my main event a team had his pitching stats count even though he had no active pitchers. He had Gavin Floyd on his bench and it counted his #'s!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully this owner is honest and emailed the whole league telling everyone he should not have the extra point he gained in K's.

This is just unacceptable for STATS. The NFBC is great and I'll be back every year but STATS has to go. There are just way too many instances in the season. They are very unreliable.

Something is not right here. I will contact STATS immediately and get yesterday's stats computed correctly. Anyone who had a player in their starting lineup on Monday also will have that player locked for today's game. This isn't too hard to do and I trust we can get this correct for one more game. I have no idea why the system would incorrectly do this for one game after 26 weeks, but we'll get it done right.

Sorry for the confusion on the most important day of the year, but everything will be re-run today and I'll update when the stats are re=run.

Just an FYI: STATS is re-running the standings now and they should be done soon. We'll let you know when they are finalized. Good luck all.
