STATS update

Post by Tom Kessenich » Tue Sep 30, 2008 5:53 am

Hey everyone, STATS has re-run all of the scoring for last night's game. They identified the problem as being the extra game was counted in each of the last two scoring periods. That has been corrected.

One other update - STATS has said it is impossible for anyone in the event to have a different lineup on Monday or Tuesday of this week. They checked the transaction records and 0 moves hae been made since the deadline.

We apologize for any problems our participants encountered this week. Good luck to everyone in tonight's final game of the regular season.

i don't think the overall standings have been corrected. for instance "A Tribe Called Questec" has 129 sb in the overall breakdown. in their league breakdown, they only have 127 sb. i believe the 127 is correct.

You're right Gekko....127 is correct, we stole 2 last night to get us there....but I would happily take the 4......kidding.

[/QUOTE]How about we get Mauer just to hit a couple HRs and steal a few bases and move us both up a spot or two? Deal?

As the team in fifth I certainly object to that notion of you and Gekko moving up a place! :--))

Nothing personal Fireballs!

Whatever happens, hell of a season fellas, we've obviously all had a very, very good outcome.

Dobies, that $1,500 you cost me was earmarked for upgrading my water delivery truck!!! Nice season and the better owner prevailed.

Don’t look now, but mauer just hit a homer AND stole a base on the same play!! Woohoo!!

LOL! Mark, chasing you all year and being able to pass you on the last day of the season was sweet. The reason I say that is because with your track record the last years passing one of the top dogs (if not the top dog) was enjoyable (now that I said this you'll probably pass me tonight!) :)

You think this has you nuts, I just told the wife I got knocked down from 11th to 12th overall and lost out on a free entry (or $1300). Then I get a call from a buddy who told me to read the boards. Much to my surprise, I have a stay of execution as I move back to 11th by ONE point over Big Mac Attack.

I kind of thought him gaining 20 points seemed a bit much, but he did go 2-4 with 2 runs, a HR, 4 RBI and an sb; so I accepted my fate.

Now I have to suffer through another game waiting for him to get a run, rbi or sb from little Ramirez and or Carlos Gonzalez. I know I am doomed, but at least I have a snowballs chance in hell.

Pete
OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.
