Playoff Baseball!

With the popularity of "post season" NFL fantasy competitions...I'm surprised to not see any creative games for the MLB post season...when the games actually MEAN something!

Tonight's game will be awesome, and similar to the one and done excitement of the single elimination games of the NFL.

I guess you could compare it to a game 7...but either way it will be exciting!

Go White Sox!!!

Tonight's game IS actually playoff baseball in many NFBC leagues where after six months there are still numerous categories that can change with one Home Run, or one Win or....

How about another dinger for the Cuban Missile - that would make MY day!

~Lance No doubt Lance that it has to do with lack of ramp time. MLB playoffs start tomorrow and we don't even have the teams/players set yet ! The NFL has a full week of set teams and rosters.
I would love to do an MLB post-season game like we do with our NFL post-season game, but it's tough to find a back-end system to run it. You could do it with the standard Rotisserie categories or you could do it as a point system league, counting Total Bases and awarding 10 points for a win, 5 points for a save, etc. Both are fun systems and the drafts are great because right now there is no one big favorite on either side to get to the World Series. Anything can happen now, which would make the draft a blast.

Okay, I'll take the third pick. Someone else dive in!! :D
True...but with a creative title, and an option for evening and morning online drafts...you could start a new tradition.

There are quite a few who may make it a holiday, and take the day off.

I'll take the 8th pick!
I'd hate to see the riots afterwards though. They might burn half the city down. Better have the national guard on call.
