Last Night's Draft

There were some surprises to me in the draft last night. I really think it is possible to build a winning pitching staff late. From 16 on you still had guys like Lilly 16, who was one of best pitchers from May-Sept in all of baseball, Cueto 20, Litch 21, Buerle, Floyd 21, O Perez. Also there were potential closers Rodney 22, Corpas, Arredondo

Other great picks to me were Nathan 8, K Rod , C Pena 9, Verlander 11, Weeks 20 (I hated this guy when people were jumpimng all over him last year but in 20th rd not risking much)Glaus 21 (29 HR), Hafner 22, O Dgg 23

Some surprise picks Kendrick 7, Dye, 7, Encarnacion 8(this guy was dropped and picked up all year last season in my 12 team home league...which says to me he was not in top 250 players) Wieters 10, C Jack (he was drafted in late teens last year and his stock should actually be dropping
