Fact Or Fiction Series Starts Friday

One of the more popular panels at BaseballHQ's Arizona Fall League Symposium is one called "Fact or Fiction." On that panel, which I was fortunate enough to be on this year, the panelists have 20 breakout players from the previous year and come to a conclusion on whether that season was fact or just fiction.



I'm going to expand on that here and even begin a blog on Rotoworld.com with this concept and just create plenty of discussion on our boards. I will create separate threads for each position and post one per day through the next two weeks. I'll throw out the names of some top guys at each position along with my analysis and ask for others to chime in. We can even add to the list as we go along and create polls to see whether the MB group thinks that season was fact or fiction for certain players.



The goal is to create dialogue on certain players and gather different opinions. We're not trying to unveil anything new as most of my analysis is in our first issue of Fantasy Sports Magazine anyway that all NFBC members will be receiving in the mail in late January. But my opinion means less than a consensus opinion and this could be a lot of fun, entertaining and even informative.

Kevin Youkilis

Chris Davis

Aubrey Huff

Pablo Sandoval (he will qualify at 1B in NFBC)

Daric Barton (bust, fact or fiction?)



If you want to discuss anyone else, feel free to add to the list once the original post has been made. Carlos Delgado could certainly be on this list along with Jorge Cantu. Anyway, we can have fun discussing as many players as you want and Tom and I will lead off with our thoughts and everyone else can jump in.
