Anyone looking for a co-manager?

Post by Snord35 » Thu Jan 01, 2009 2:39 pm

Hello and happy New Year fellow NFBC members.

Well I have gone over my budget for 2009 and unfortunately I have to cut back on some expenses. I still might have enough room to enter the NFBC by myself but would rather split the cost with another fellow NFBC member for the 2009 season. I’m hoping to team up with someone who is in the same boat I’m in. I will split the entry fee and pay for my own expenses (Mags, Hotel, ext) for the draft. Total should be (1300 entry +50 co-manager) $675 each and we would be drafting out of Chicago. Of course we would split our winnings 50/50.

I have a great history in the NFBC. I’m a 5 year member and ranked 98th lifetime. Last year was by far my worst coming in at 205th overall and 7th in the Chicago 3 league. The two years prior I finished 2nd in my Chicago leagues and was 15th overall and 65th overall. I have also won some satellite leagues in the past.

I don’t care if you have played in the NFBC before or not. This could be a great opportunity for someone looking to learn the ropes from a NFBC vet or a chance for another NFBC member to get a chance to play who doesn’t have enough funds like myself.

I feel I’m a very good drafter and have very good luck with young upcoming talent who have breakout seasons. If your good at in season pickups please contact me! I feel that is my weakness if I do have a weakness.

Anyways feel free to send me a message.

My search is over for finding a co-manager. I will be teaming up with long time NFBC member Stan Kaye! We both had a great conversation today about teaming up and we are both looking forward to a fun 2009 season!

Just goes to show how supportive the NFBC family really is. We will both be able to draft in the Main Event and are able to continue to participate in a top rate event.

28 hours after posting he finds a co-manager.

In what other message board can you accomplish this feat?

Just amazing.
