Let's welcome yet another new member to the growing NFBC family as Jason Novak of Chicago, Illinois has just signed up to compete in the NFBC's main event at the Embassy Suites Chicago-O'Hare. Jason is new to our family of high-stakes events and we welcome him with open arms. Thanks for trusting and supporting us, Jason, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize.

We welcome back our 132nd team from the 2004 event to the 2005 event as Robert Migliozzi of Hanover Park, Illinois becomes our 40th signup for the main event at the Embassy Suites Chicago-O'Hare. Robert's "BobCats" finished 12th in Chicago League 2 last year with 72 points and 122nd overall. Injuries cast a spell on the Bobcats, but better health will lead to a much higher finish this year, right Bob? Thanks again for your trust and support and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. We now have 40 in Chicago and 220 overall for the main event, leaving us with exactly 80 spots.

Let's give it up for yet another new member of the growing NFBC family as Bill Pollick and Jason Zelmore of Youngstown, Ohio have signed up to compete in the NFBC's main event at the Embassy Suites Chicago-O'Hare. Bill and Jason are new to our family of high-stakes events and we welcome them to the fold. The duo will be drafting in the main event on Saturday, March 19th as we now have 41 signups for Chicago and 221 overall. They have also signed up for the Mixed Auction League on Friday afternoon, March 18th, starting at 4 p.m. We're almost halfway full for that debut league in Chicago, so let's keep the signups coming and fill that one up. Best of luck guys in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, $5,000 league prize and $4,250 Mixed Auction League prize.

The New York signups keep on coming, which is a good sign as we head towards the magic number of 300. Let's welcome yet another new member to the NFBC family as Joseph Anello of Howard Beach, New York has signed up for the NFBC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, March 19th. Joseph is new to our high-stakes contests and he will be joined at the draft table by Joseph Iaboni. We now have 72 signed up for the New York draft and 222 overall. Thanks for trusting and supporting us, guys, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Jeff and Drew are new to our family of high-stakes events and we welcome them to the fold. We now have 73 signups for New York and 223 overall. Here we go again with another signup for the NFBC's main event, our 224th overall. Jim Schumacher of San Diego, California is our newest member to the growing NFBC family as he has just signed up to compete at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, March 19th. We now have 110 competitors scheduled for Las Vegas and room for many more as we just secured additional space for the main event. Jim is new to our slate of high-stakes events and we're glad to have him among the gang. Thanks for your trust and support, Jim, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Andrew Robinson of Columbus, Georgia and Sal Defilipo have already joined the NFBC's main event in Las Vegas and now they're seeking more fun in Las Vegas. They just added the $1,250 NL Auction League, even though we've already filled a $1,250 league and a $650 league. We actually have six competitors now who would do a $1,250 NL Auction League on Friday morning at 9 a.m. and eight who are committed to the $650 league. I don't want to split those up, but let's keep taking signups for both and see if we can get another full $1,250 league. Thanks Andrew and Sal for the support and best of luck in the hunt for the $7,500 first place prize if we can pull this together, which we somehow will.

It's good to see that interest in the auction leagues is picking up. David Deterra of Jamestown, Rhode Island called several weeks ago to secure a spot in the NFBC Ultimate Draft League and today he made sure that he could get a spot in the AL Auction League ($1,250 entry fee) in New York. David becomes the third team to officially sign up for that event, leaving nine spots open. I know we'll fill that one as last year's NY AL Auction League was VERY competitive. Thanks for trusting and supporting us, David, and best of luck in the hunt for the $7,000 first place prize.

Okay, we've officially filled 15 full leagues for the NFBC's main event, giving us exactly 225 signups with 27 days left. We filled our 15th league with our 74th signup for New York as the tag team of Jace Miller of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania and co-manager Jonathan Lininger have signed up to compete at the New York Hilton on Saturday, March 19th. Jace and Jonathan are new to our family of high-stakes games and we welcome them to the gang. Thanks for trusting and supporting us, guys, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Timothy Stevens has already signed up for the NFBC's main event in Las Vegas and now he's adding the Mixed Auction League ($650 entry fee) to his weekend of fun at the Rio Hotel & Casino. Tim is our 17th registrant for that league, so we're obviously starting a second Mixed Auction League for Las Vegas. Tim will do the AL Auction League ($650 entry fee) if we don't fill the Mixed League, but he definitely prefers the Mixed Auction League. We'll work hard to fill up another one, Tim, so good luck in the hunt for the $4,250 first place prize.

Now the fun begins! This next signup hails from Brooklyn, New York, so obviously our newest member of the growing NFBC family will be drafting in Las Vegas! :D Not once. Not twice. But three times! :D Gotta love it.

Let's welcome aboard the tag team of Charles Levitz and Richard Gordon of Brooklyn, New York, who have signed up for the trifecta March 18-19 at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. They have become our 111th team in Las Vegas for the NFBC's main event, our 11th team for the AL Auction League ($650 entry) and our 20th person for the NL Auction League at $1,250/team. It's obvious that we're going to get enough interest for another high-stakes NL Auction League in Las Vegas, so let's start taking signups to fill both the $1,250 and $650 NL leagues, for a total of three that morning in Las Vegas. Anyway, we're glad to have you guys on board and part of the NFBC family. Best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, $5,000 league prize, $7,500 NL Auction League prize and $3,500 AL Auction League prize!

Let's start out a new day with another signup from yet another new member of the growing NFBC family. The tag team of Matt Hickock and Tiffany Setzer of Owing Mills, Maryland will be drafting live at the New York Hilton on Saturday, March 19th. Matt and Tiffany are new to our family of high-stakes events and we welcome them aboard. Matt said he learned about the event through Fantasy Sports Magazine and was intrigued by the concept. Thanks for trusting and supporting us and good luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Here we go again. Let's give it up for our newest NFBC member as Dwight Gross of Cypress, Texas has just signed up for the NFBC's main event at the Embassy Suites Chicago-O'Hare. Dwight is new to our family of high-stakes events and we're glad to have him in the Windy City for this one. Dwight said he saw the preview in Fantasy Sports Magazine and had to get involved. Thanks for your trust and support, Dwight, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. We now have 41 signups in Chicago and 228 overall.

The signups keep coming in today as we're starting to fill up our 16th NFBC league. We gladly welcome another new member to our family of high-stakes events as Douglas Jaffe of Commack, New York has just signed up to compete in the NFBC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, March 19th. This is Doug's first venture in the NFBC and we welcome him aboard. Thanks for trusting and supporting us, Doug, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. Andrew Robinson and Sal Difilipo of Columbus, Georgia have already signed up for the NFBC's main event in Las Vegas and the NL Auction League ($1,250 entry fee) and today they added the $650 Mixed Auction League. We're adding to our second mixed auction league in Las Vegas and hope to fill that one as well. Thanks once again for your support and trust, guys, and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,250 first place prize.

The signups keep coming in today as spring training has officially arrived! :D Let's give it up for yet another new NFBC member as Greg Dunn of Chicago, Illinois is claiming home field advantage in the Windy City by signing up for the main event at the Embassy Suites Chicago-O'Hare on Saturday, March 19th. Greg will be drafting alone in Chicago as a first-time member of the NFBC, but he's ready for the competition. Thanks for your trust and support, Greg, and good luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

The momentum is shifting over to New York as several new signups are coming in this week for the main event in New York. Let's announce two more tonight as we now have less than 70 spots left. First off, let's welcome Michael Lins of Yardville, New Jersey, who is joining us for the first time in the main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, March 19th. Michael heard about our event last year and is ready to tackle the challenge this year. Thanks for your trust and support, Michael, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

You are great Greg!...and you too Tom!

(Been drinking...sorry...common)

Just by hearing the honest and enthusiastic voice of Greg on the phone...and being similar myself...and I like to support honest and enthusiastic people...and loving that they run their drafts on a different week than WCOFF does...means you can count me in for NFFC 2005!

See, now that's the kind of enthusiasm I like to see. You let me know when you want to make that official as I have nice custom fit NFFC hats for the first 100 signups. It's an idea I may have to spread to the NFBC next year, too! :D We already have 65 signups for football and I have a feeling I will have to find more space in Las Vegas than what I have reserved right now. But my total focus is on baseball now and I'm having fun taking all these signups each day. Keep 'em coming as I have the space for 300+ if needed.

The first MGD is on me in Las Vegas, but I think I told you that already, Lance! :D

Let's continue the signups today and find a way to get closer to 300! Let's welcome our 135th returning NFBC member from 2004 (my previous count was off) to the 2005 main event as Adam Hollander of Antioch, California will be returning to Las Vegas on Saturday, March 19th. Adam's Go Bears team finished 14th in Las Vegas League 4 last year, but he's primed for a MUCH better finish this year. Adam will be drafting alone in the main event, where we now have 112 signups in Las Vegas and 233 overall. Thanks for your trust and support, Adam, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

No rest Tom and Greg till you hit 300. I'm starting to believe you are going to reach that goal. Last year, you told all of us that would listen that with only 195 to compete against for the $100k the odds would never be better. So true, nice job.
