Arod for $4 first pick round 31...somebody stop meeeee!

Side note...I found this kind of cool how so many successful pitchers have such unique wind ups, steps, arm angle, deliveries, and follow throughs.

~Lance :D Lance/Duke, correct me if I'm wrong but if that's the case wouldn't AROD be at cost $0 if drafted in the 31st round ? There is no MLB minimum of $4 for 31-45 correct ?
I wouldn't mind...but this was on page #1...

"All players from rounds 31-45 will cost the league minimum $4 regardless of salary."

That's only $60 per team, but it adds $900 to the prize pool.

KJ. I'm teaming with Shawn. Unless he changes his mind. He'll be the lead and contact.

I have sent rules to everyone in the league. Please note calculation of the "Manager of the Year" payout, in particular. It is an easier to track (albeit slightly different calcuation) than the originally described bonus payout. I will edit that into the first post.

Kevin:

I had expressed a genuine interest a few days back but I guess I didn't make the invite list.

Oh well see everyone at the Main event...

Chris Sorry captain, I was oversubscribed as it was and I would've had even more guys coming in today from those I invited right off the bat.

If this league work's out maybe it can be another league Greg COULD add to his list.It is a little high but if you just cut the payouts in half you could get many more players. So if the avg team cost 1000 in the setup now it would only cost 500 if cut in half. You could even go a quarter for 250 leagues.

Lets see how this one works out and if its a hit then we might have another event to think about every year.

Any guess when this league or some of the earlier $325 45 rounders gets inputted into the main league pages?

No rush, just wondering when it may be set up. (before or after the main event?)

~Lance I just talked with STATS about this and the problem with these 45-rounders is that we went so deep with prospects that some of the names didn't have a player code in MDC's system. So we're manually loading those in now and then we'll get all of the satellites loaded. Once we have every single possible player with an ID number in the MDC.com system, these teams should be loaded more quickly.

In fact, I think our new system will allow me and Tom to load these leagues right after each draft, which will make the online championship work perfectly. If we can have those teams on your team pages that night or the next day, man, that will be sweet.

So bear with us for now as we add the player codes to the minor leagues and then we'll be good to go.

You can't take all the blame, Emory.

JP Arencibia and Guzman from the Giants (I can't even remember his first name) were my contributions.
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

So.....somebody spent $320 on Arod and it sounds like they may not get a full season from him. Did they draft Cody Ransom too?

My Pierre pick isn't looking too hot these days either....but I knew it was a bad pick when I made it I guess.
No worries Emory!

Looking at the silver lining we had depth at 1B and have Youklis who can slide into 3B cause having ARod we didn't look for depth at 3B so here's to hoping Overbay has a great April and possibly early May!!! :D
