Got thru the whole list of players today with a few updates. Also added many $4 players who may be drafted but were not listed; mostly '08 rookies and minor lgrs.

All player salaries have been consolidated into one alphabetical list in post #1. A total of 928 players are listed, almost 62 rounds worth. It is probably the most current, comprehensive list of player salaries anywhere to be found outside of MLBPA internal documents.

Fantasy prep aside, it gave me some insight into real world player values and how different teams manage and mis-manage their payrolls. Really interesting.

bump. As soon as I have everyone's KDS preferences I will post the draft order. The deadline is noon central Monday (you get 1-15 if you miss the deadline), but if I get all of them before then I will post it asap.

Did you use Cot's Contracts? If so, did you find it to be current?

http://mlbcontracts.blogspot.com/ Cot's and RW for updates. RW is faster with updates but Cot's lists contracts in more detail. Cot's also doesn't have any update page, which makes it harder to use.

I think Fudd and Jim might not be the Yankees but maybe the Angels and they have big pockets.Childs and Walla will be the Yankees and as ive said we are the Royals.

1. Padres--nope, ugly uniforms. What's with the camo?

2. Marlins--nope, I can't sell off my players at season's end.

3. Rays--nope, I don't have the last 5 #1 picks.

4. Pirates--getting closer, but I don't want to associate with that record of futility.

5. Bad News Bears--that's about right.

I think we should've started this before arbitration ran as now the odds of having a small market team are getting smaller and smaller with every day that passes. I think the average team salary you projected has gone up at least $50 each.

Net change of guys I think go in the first 30 rds is probably just $15-20 per team higher so far, but probably reachs $50 and then some by draft day.
